Sourceworks
Industry · Pressure · Arcana
Three mods sit at the centre of this pack, and each one asks you a different question.
Mekanism asks how much metal you can pull out of a seam. The answer starts at two ingots and ends at five, by way of a chemical plant you build yourself.
PneumaticCraft asks whether you can keep a machine working without blowing it up. Pressure is a resource you manage, not a number that fills. It ends in drones you program with a visual editor.
Ars Nouveau asks what a spell should actually do. There is no spell list — you collect glyphs and combine them, and nobody else's spellbook looks like yours.
Everything else in the pack is here to support those three.
The quest book
449 quests across 15 chapters, written by hand in English and Russian, with original artwork in every chapter.
| Chapter | Quests | Chapter | Quests | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Mekanism | 61 | Twilight Forest | 27 | |
| Ars Nouveau | 49 | Cataclysm | 21 | |
| PneumaticCraft | 49 | Exploration | 21 | |
| Create | 48 | Power and Storage | 19 | |
| Immersive Engineering | 32 | Storage and Logistics | 17 | |
| Applied Energistics | 30 | Farm and Kitchen | 16 | |
| First Steps | 28 | Welcome | 16 | |
| Building and Decoration | 15 |
Quests unlock as you complete what they depend on, so a chapter reads as a real tech tree instead of a wall of icons. That is presentation, not permission — nothing in the pack is recipe-locked. If you already know a mod, build straight to its endgame and the quests tick themselves off behind you. 66 of them are marked optional: side content you can skip freely.
The first chapter explains the pack itself — where to start, what the keybinds are, how teams work, and how to report a bug.
What else is in
Automation and storage — Applied Energistics 2 with MEGA Cells, wireless terminals, Applied Mekanistics for chemicals and Ars Énergistique for Source, so magic and machines share one network. Sophisticated Backpacks and Storage, Functional Storage, Modular Routers, Pipez.
More ways to build a factory — Create with Crafts & Additions and Enchantment Industry, Immersive Engineering, Powah, Industrial Foregoing. Ore tags are unified, so steel from one mod is steel to every other.
A world worth crossing — Terralith reshapes the overworld, the full YUNG's structure series rebuilds the dungeons, and Dungeons and Taverns adds more. Twilight Forest brings a dimension with a boss ladder. L_Ender's Cataclysm brings late-game bosses that will kill you in diamond gear.
Comfort — JEI, Jade, Waystones, Xaero's maps, Farmer's Delight, Aquaculture, Chipped, the Macaw's family, Supplementaries, Handcrafted, Quark.
Presentation
- Custom title screen and a custom loading screen, both replaced end to end — including the NeoForge early window before the game starts.
- Every button in the game is reskinned, not just the menu.
- A hand-drawn panorama, pack wordmark and quest artwork, all made for this pack.
Performance
Ships with Sodium, Iris, ModernFix, FerriteCore, EntityCulling and ImmediatelyFast. On most machines this runs better than vanilla does.
Shaders work out of the box. Three are included: Complementary Reimagined and Complementary Unbound for looks, MakeUp Ultra Fast for weak hardware.
Suggested memory: 6 GB. More than 8 GB usually makes garbage collection worse, not better.
Credits
Every mod, shader and resource pack here belongs to its author. This pack is a selection and a configuration — if you enjoy something in it, go and support the person who built it.
Shader packs by the Complementary Development team (Complementary Reimagined and Complementary Unbound) and by Jorge Chaves (MakeUp Ultra Fast). Resource packs by LemonSzz (Glamorous Glass) and the CTM Overhaul authors.
