This modpack only contains 74 mods (and 0 recipe tweaks) but gives an entertaining way to play modded minecraft, as the mod makers themselves intended.

This modpack contains new mods like Astral Sorcery, as well as older mods like Mystcraft. The base of the pack is magic mods like Thaumcraft, with later-game tech such as Applied Energistics and Immersive Engineering. In this way you are encouraged - but not forced - to use magic mods in the early game. The overarching design philosophy of this pack is lightweight and server friendly - with many tweak mods to improve memory issues present in the base game.
