A technology and magic focused vanilla+ modpack

Have you ever wanted to build towns with your friends and compete against other players? Ever felt like vanilla Minecraft was missing a sense of progression? This is the perfect modpack for you.

Multiplayer-first

Please feel free to join our official modpack community at mcskyfire.cloud! We are an active community and it’s always more fun to play with others. The modpack includes optional mods for multiplayer including in-game proximity voice chat, home, and teleport commands.

The modpack can easily be used to host a server by downloading the latest NeoForge and dragging all the mods from the Curseforge “mods” folder to the server’s “mods” folder.

Technology

We rely on Immersive Engineering with expansion mods to offer advanced technology progression up until the early 1960s. Immersive Engineering requires building real power lines, large scale machines, and infrastructure such as power stations, hydroelectric dams, or oil refineries to progress. Industrial Foregoing, which is inspired by the classic MineFactory, can be used to build factories alongside Immersive Engineering for late-game automation of many tasks in Minecraft. Although this can be accomplished individually, it’s best to collaborate with other players due to the infrastructure required to fully advance through the technology tree.

Building

You can use the Chiseled, Dawn of Time, Abyssal Decor, or Some More Blocks mods, to name a few, to build a home or town in any style you wish. There are blocks inspired by Roman, Greek, Japanese, Pre-Columbian, German, Persian, Victorian, and American styles and come with statues, rugs, custom windows, and so much more that you can customize.

We also offer several furniture mods including all the Macaw’s and MrCrayFish mods so that you can customize the look of your home any way you want! If you choose to work with other players, we have the Herald II mod which adds hundreds of flags and banners you can choose from inspired by popular video games.

Vehicles

Why stop at minecarts and boats? This modpack adds trains with RailCraft that allow you to transport liquids, large quantities of items, or players on massive railroads. You can progress past boats to Cogs, Frigates, and later - gas-guzzling speed boats that allow you to more quickly move around the map, fire cannons, and transport items.

Mining equipment, submarines, planes and airships, and later - WW2 era planes are available as you progress through the modpack. These vehicles complement technology and building since they allow you to move around the world faster, harvest materials, and defend your town.

Magic

As an alternative to technology progression and equally if not more powerful, we use several magic mods including Ars Nouveau and Occultism which allow for powerful spells, automation, and more!

Note: The licenses and usage of the modpack are governed by each individual mod. The modpack itself does not impose any licenses since it is just a collection of mods.
