This update is focused on stability, compatibility, mob spawning fixes, audio improvements, horror balance, and cleaning up issues found during testing.

Updated

• Updated multiple mods in the pack for improved stability and compatibility.

• Updated The Newest Goatman — Ambient Frequency Patch.

• Updated Enhanced Audio: Soundpack resource pack.

• Updated player/animation-related mods for smoother first-person and third-person visuals.

• Updated voice/chat and client-side compatibility mods.

• Updated horror-related mods and support libraries where needed.

Fixed

• Fixed the fake blood splatter issue where blood could appear on screen when crouching, crawling, or dropping from small 1x1 ledges even when the player did not actually take damage.

• Fixed Bad Mobs configuration so Mekanism / Mekanism Additions baby mobs should no longer spawn.

• Fixed several mob-spawning issues caused by modded baby mob variants bypassing the original blacklist.

• Fixed CANTBREATHE: Asphyxiation [Horror] inventory deletion / incompatibility issues with inventory-death mods such as Gravestone and Corpse.

• Fixed Silent Canbreathe affecting the player incorrectly after death or respawning.

• Fixed several multiplayer compatibility issues.

• Improved general modpack stability for longer play sessions.

• Improved client-side smoothness and reduced some stutter/jitter issues.

Changed

• Adjusted configs to better support horror gameplay without removing core visual effects.

• Blood effects remain enabled, but the false blood-splatter trigger has been corrected.

• Cleaned up several config settings to reduce unwanted behavior while keeping the intended horror atmosphere.

• Kept StableCap Pacer in the pack to help capped FPS feel smoother and more consistent.

• Improved the pack’s audio atmosphere with the updated Enhanced Audio: Soundpack resource pack.

Known Notes

• Some players may still experience black-screen flickering after long sessions depending on GPU, overlays, or external programs such as MSI Afterburner / RTSS.

• If you experience black flickering, try disabling overlays first and restart the game.

• If you run into major lag spikes, stutters, or crashes after updating, please report it in the Discord with your PC specs, latest.log, and crash report if one was created.
