A Fabric 1.20.1 psychological horror modpack centered around untitled.log. Have Fun!!!

"There's nothing to be afraid of."

Welcome to ⟦ ꙄΛVΞ_US ⟧, a Minecraft psychological horror modpack built around untitled.log.

This modpack takes the already unsettling experience of untitled.log and adds a collection of quality-of-life, performance, and exploration-focused mods to make the experience feel a little more complete without changing what makes the original mod so interesting.

The idea behind this pack isn't to throw hundreds of horror creatures at you or turn Minecraft into an impossible survival challenge. It's to let the horror happen naturally.

Sometimes you'll be exploring a perfectly normal-looking world. Other times, you'll find yourself somewhere you don't recognize, surrounded by things you don't understand.

And sometimes, something will find you first.

🌲 What Is ⟦ ꙄΛVΞ_US ⟧?

⟦ ꙄΛVΞ_US ⟧ is built for players who enjoy the mysterious and unsettling side of Minecraft horror.

Instead of relying entirely on jumpscares and aggressive monsters, the pack focuses on exploration, atmosphere, and the feeling that something isn't quite right.

At first, things might seem normal. You can gather resources, explore the world, build whatever you want, and play Minecraft like you normally would.

But that doesn't mean everything is normal.

Strange places exist beyond the familiar world, and you might encounter things that don't behave the way you'd expect.

The best part is discovering these things for yourself.

👁️ What Can You Expect?

🌫️ An Unsettling Atmosphere

The world might look familiar, but that doesn't mean you should trust it. Strange environments, unusual encounters, and unexplained events are all part of the experience.

🚪 Strange Dimensions & Exploration

There's more to discover than the regular Minecraft world. Explore unfamiliar locations and try to figure out where you've ended up. Some places might be worth returning to, while others are probably better left alone.

📷 Photography & Documentation

Bring a camera along on your adventures and document the places you discover. Take pictures of strange environments, keep track of your discoveries, and make your own records of what you've experienced.

You can even give unfamiliar dimensions your own names and create a collection of photographs from your travels.

📖 Your Own Story

There isn't a specific storyline you need to follow. Your experiences, discoveries, and encounters are what make each playthrough different.

Keep a journal if you want. Write down strange events, document locations, or make notes about things you don't understand.

⚙️ Quality-of-Life Improvements

Additional mods make Minecraft a little more convenient to play without taking away from the main horror experience.

The goal is to improve the overall gameplay, not make everything unnecessarily complicated.

🚀 Performance Improvements

Performance-focused mods are included to help keep the game running smoothly, especially during exploration.

🏚️ Build, Explore, or Keep Moving

One of the things I wanted to keep with this pack is the freedom to play however you want.

You can build a base, settle down somewhere, and try to live a normal Minecraft life.

Or you can forget about having a permanent home and just explore.

Personally, I think the idea of traveling between strange places, taking photographs, and keeping a journal of everything you find makes for a really interesting playthrough.

You could even build an entire room dedicated to the places you've visited.

Just don't assume your house is completely safe.

I learned that one the hard way.

🧩 Why I Made This Modpack

I've always liked Minecraft horror mods that make you question what's happening rather than constantly throwing monsters in your face.

When I discovered untitled.log, I thought it would be interesting to build a small modpack around it.

Nothing too crazy. Just some useful additions, better performance, and a few features that give you more reasons to explore.

I didn't want to completely change the original experience or bury it underneath dozens of other horror mods.

untitled.log is still the main focus here.

⟦ ꙄΛVΞ_US ⟧ is simply my take on making that experience a little bigger while keeping the mystery and atmosphere that make it enjoyable.

📜 Rules & Recommendations

⟦ ꙄΛVΞ_US ⟧ is meant to be experienced however you want, but there are a few rules and recommendations to help you get the most out of the modpack.

📖 Rule 1 — Starting Equipment

Players are allowed to enter Creative Mode at the beginning of their playthrough to give themselves the following items:

  • 1 Journal — For recording strange encounters, discoveries, and experiences.

  • 1 Camera — For photographing unfamiliar locations, entities, and dimensions.

  • 1 Photo Album — For collecting and organizing photographs from your adventures.

These items are intended for documentation and exploration, not for giving yourself a survival advantage.

Once you have your equipment, switch back to Survival Mode.

🏡 Rule 2 — Building Your Starting Home

Players may enter Creative Mode to build themselves a small starting home before beginning their survival experience.

Your home can be used to store supplies, keep your journal, and display photographs of dimensions you've discovered.

However, be warned: your home is not guaranteed to be safe.

Certain creatures may damage or completely tear through your builds, regardless of how secure you think they are.

Build somewhere comfortable, but don't get too attached.

🌫️ Rule 3 — Shaders

Shaders are NOT recommended for the best playing experience.

untitled.log has its own visual atmosphere, and certain shaders may interfere with intended effects or change how environments appear.

For the most authentic experience, playing without additional shaders is strongly recommended.

You're welcome to experiment with them, but keep in mind that some visual effects may not work as intended.

💀 Rule 4 — Keep Inventory

Players are allowed to enable the keepInventory gamerule.

Death doesn't necessarily have to mean losing everything you've collected.

Think of each death as waking up from a nightmare, only to find yourself in another one.

Keeping your items allows you to focus on exploration and documentation without constantly worrying about recovering your belongings.

This rule is completely optional.

📸 Rule 5 — Document Your Discoveries

Players are encouraged to document the strange places they encounter throughout their playthrough.

When discovering a new dimension, try to:

  • Take at least one photograph of the environment.

  • Give the dimension a name of your own.

  • Record any unusual encounters or events in your journal.

  • Keep your photographs organized in an album or display them at home.

You don't need to know the official names of the locations you discover.

Part of the fun is coming up with your own explanations for the things you find.

🚪 Rule 6 — Explore Naturally

For the best experience, avoid looking up every secret, dimension, or creature before encountering it yourself.

A huge part of untitled.log is the mystery surrounding its world.

Sometimes you'll find something interesting. Sometimes you'll find something terrifying.

And sometimes you'll have absolutely no idea what just happened.

That's part of the experience.

🧭 Rule 7 — Play at Your Own Pace

There is no required progression route or specific way to complete the modpack.

You can spend your time exploring, building, photographing strange places, or simply surviving.

You're not required to explore every dimension or interact with everything you encounter.

If somewhere doesn't feel safe, you're more than welcome to turn around.

🎮 Recommended Way to Play

There aren't any mandatory objectives, but here are a few suggestions if you want to get the most out of the experience:

  • 🎧 Wear headphones. Sound and atmosphere make a huge difference in horror games.

  • 📖 Keep a journal. Write down encounters, strange events, and places you discover.

  • 📸 Take photographs. Document the places you've been and create your own collection.

  • 🧭 Explore without spoilers. Not knowing what comes next is part of the fun.

  • 🏡 Build a home, if you want. Just remember that having walls doesn't necessarily mean you're safe.

  • 🌙 Take your time. There's no need to rush through everything.

📼 One Last Thing...

You don't have to understand everything you see.

You don't have to explore every place you find.

And you definitely don't have to trust everything that speaks to you.

Sometimes, it's better not to know what's waiting on the other side.

"There's nothing to be afraid of."

...Right?
