The Story
They say nothing lasts forever, but they also say nothing truly changes. Two contradicting statements that in the eyes of many, carry more weight than even the laws of nature themselves. This world has changed beyond recognition since you left it. While virtually no time has passed for you trapped in the abyss, the clock of the world has kept ticking. Moving forward towards its infinite destination. Civilizations of old have collapsed. Whether by fearsome wars or great plagues, it does not matter. The old ways are gone, and with it your name, your empire, your power, and most of all, your mark on the world. Perhaps you will see this as a fresh start. Or maybe you will seek to regain your lost power. Perhaps you will even attempt to take hold of the world, holding it tight in your grasp or striving to make it a better place. Regardless, it will not be an easy road. Darkness and Evil lurk within this new world. New creatures have risen from history and mythos alike. Even the very nature of magic itself has warped and reshaped beyond recognition. Your path is yours alone to choose, and yours alone to travel. Then again, hadn't it always been?
Description
This modpack is meant to be a sort of continuation of the world of sargos, many millennia after. The world is rich in magic and wonder, though magic takes new and lesser known forms. The old ways of manipulating blood and souls to serve your needs still exist through Blood Magic. However the ways of thaumaturgy have disappeared as have the forces that once governed them. Instead the art of spellcraft and reality manipulation have re-emerged through the Mana and Artifice mod. Or perhaps you wish to forgo the ways of magic in favor of bringing the world into the industrial age? Create and Immersive Engineering allow you to do just that by turning simple motion into industrial potential. The choice is yours on how you reshape your name in this new world.
