Necropolis Origins is meant to help fill the void of more darker, undead themed origins. This is my first attempt at an origin pack so feedback is much appreciated. For right now, there are only a couple origins but I have plans to expand the addon as time goes on.
Origins currently Included:
Frost Wight:
A being ressurrected after meeting a tragic, freezing end. They now roam the earth with their new second life, now sustained by the power of ice and souls.
This origin is a high risk, high reward origin. Fire is exceptionally lethal to you, yet the freezing effect doesn't hurt you. You now have a secondary resource to manage called Soul Energy, which drains passively, and is restored by killing mobs, or standing near a soul lantern/sculk catalyst. If your soul energy hits 0, you die. If Iron's Spellbooks is installed, you deal higher overall ice spell damage.
Frost Wights when threatened can unleash a devastating screech, as physically chilling as it is bone chilling. The screech deals considerable damage to anything in its path, and those who survive are covered in a layer of ice, briefly slowing and weakening them.
Frost Wights also have the ability to cheat death. If your soul energy is above a certain amount and the ability is not on cooldown, taking lethal damage will drain a very large portion of your soul energy to save you, regenerating you to roughly half health, and going on a 15 minute cooldown.
Smoldering Revenant:
A vengeful, hateful creature who was burned alive and met an unjust end by the hands of another. only for the flames to reignite months or even years later, and with them, a fiery rage and need for retribution.
This origin is restrictive and fairly simple, yet quite powerful. Opposite to frostwight, Water is super dangerous, but fire is practically harmless. If Iron's Spellbooks is installed, you deal higher overall fire spell damage.
As the Smoldering Revenant attacks enemies, they will charge up their heat bar. They can also take damage to receive double the heat they would get from attacking. As long as a Smoldering Revenant has heat in their bar, regardless of how much, they can go into their Searing Fury mode, where they deal innate fire damage, increased melee damage, and gain a small amount of increased defense.
(This origin is likely to be adjusted and maybe added onto in the future, which is why i have it set to only impact 2)
