Announcement:
There is currently a crash bug with Multiplayer servers(v1.1) during combat. It's fixable by updating Immersive Combat to this version(CF Mod Link) for both the server and client.

PLEASE do NOT play the "stable" release 1.0.5.5 version as it is outdated and unsupported. Most of the 1.0.5.5 problems have been fixed in the Public Alpha version. Please play that version, thank you.

Description:

A Difficult Survival RPG mod-pack inspired by the same genre. BPG Edition is a fork of Rebirth of the Night(RotN) but leans more toward the classic RPG experience. The goal is to create a difficult, yet fair challenge experience. The pack will respond to your newfound strength as you advance through the difficulty tiers through gear progression. Enemies will become stronger with you! This pack is not meant for speed runners but slow and methodical players. Each death/loss is a learning experience, which will enrich your next playthrough. Work hard and you will succeed!

Feature:
- Survival: SimpleDifficulty, Thirst and Temperature system. Before you roll your eyes at this gameplay aspect, this feature has been extensively tested by my community. The community calls it one of the few mod-packs that has implemented it "right." It is fun and fair, but tough and challenging. There are numerous survival mechanics implemented. Individual armour pieces give different temperature modifiers. Holding certain items can affect your temperature such as holding snow or hot cocoa. Every biome gives different modifiers. Time of day, blocks, and proximity emit different temperatures. Drinking unclean water will give internal parasites, but creating purified water is easy to learn. Dimensions such as the Nether and Aether will bring new challenges. Newcomers will struggle while veterans will prosper. The survival mechanics will be your early-game obstacles that must be overcome first, otherwise you'll meet a short end.

- RPG: Reskillable. Before you roll your eyes again! Every item has been integrated into the stat and achievement system. Different investments will yield different results, it helps individuals stand out in the late game and teamwork is greatly encouraged in the early game. The system hasn't reached its full potential yet. A custom RPG Class system is in the works to complement the current system.

- Combat: Immersive Combat, EBWizardry, Set Bonuses, SpartanWeaponry, InControl/Triumph, and much more! Many of the weapon types have strong distinctions between each other. Two-handed weapons will feel weighty, one-handed weapons will feel nimble, and ranged weapons will feel satisfying. With first-person animations of each weapon type, immersion is greatly increased. The majority of armours within the pack have set bonuses to enhance player strength. But be careful, as increasing armour set tiers will also enhance your enemies! Reaching certain milestones in progression will cause stronger entities to start spawning. Playing around with different builds is half of the fun!

- Exploration: Multiple mods such as AncientWarfare 2, The Beneath, and Biomes'O Plenty more! Exploration is an important aspect of discovering loot, materials, and vistas. Expect to find abandoned ruins, dangerous dungeons, fortified castles, pirate ships, floating islands, and more. Different biomes give different benefits and obstacles. Never give up if your starting biome is a deserted island or a tundra. There are starting items and tools to help you get started on your journey.
