Building on the original foundations of voltz, just like Road to the Nuclear Apocalypse, we've brought back together some solid mods from the glory days of voltz, including mekanism, galacticraft, ICBM and more, in combination with new and exciting mods like Flans Mod (with it's WWII content pack), Terrarium (for using the planet earth as the world), and Ichun's Sync to create a unique and enjoyable spin on the classic voltz gameplay. This time created from the ground up in 1.12.2.
Features from various mods have been changed from the default behavior in the name of balancing, for example we've replaced the default way to create flan's mod fuel with a sytem that uses fuel canister from other mods, and we've removed the digital miner from mekanism to bring back that later game challenge that you would miss after you gain the ability to rip ores from the ground with the press of a button. because of this, please be sure to refer to JEI for recipes over any wiki.
Optifine
Unfortunately, optifine does not give permission to include it in modpacks, however as I cannot help but recommend it, here's a tutorial to install it.
- Download the latest 1.12.2 version of optifine from here
- Run the jar file that you've just downloaded, and click "extract"
- A new file should be generated in the same directory as the original one, copy that into the mods folder of Road to the Nuclear Apocalypse (which you can navigate to from the twitch client by clicking the cog in the top right corner of the Modpack, and clicking "open folder"
