Ribbit Survival

A normal-survival modpack for Minecraft 26.1.2 on NeoForge. Not a skyblock. You spawn into an ordinary world; the difference is what the frogs do for you.

⚠️ Alpha

This is an early build (v0.1). It loads and plays, but the mod list, balance, and config still change between versions, and it leans on a couple of mods that are themselves on alpha builds (Powah). Back up your world before updating, and expect the occasional rough edge. Bug reports and suggestions go on the GitHub issue tracker.

What makes it tick

Productive Frogs is the centerpiece. You breed frogs by category, and they work for you. Some farm resources. The predatory ones hunt mobs for drops you'd otherwise grind by hand. Boss altars take frog-made offerings. It replaces a lot of manual farming with a living, breeding setup you build up over time.

The tech spine is Applied Energistics 2 and Powah. AE2 stores and sorts everything the frogs produce, including the fluids (Slime Milk, Mob Slurry, Liquid Experience). Powah supplies the RF.

The hook worth knowing: Powah's power feeds Productive Frogs' Equivalence lane directly. The Alembic and Distiller run on RF through the standard energy capability, so you wire a Powah generator straight into frog-driven transmutation. That lane ships enabled in this pack, which it isn't by default in the mod.

Apotheosis sits on top for the combat and loot side: affixed gear, enchanting, gem crafting, and boss rares to chase once the economy is running.

The rest of the kit

• Worldgen: Terralith and Tectonic reshape the overworld, with YUNG's Better Mineshafts, Structory, and Explorer's Compass for things to find.
• Storage and logistics: AE2, the Sophisticated Backpacks/Storage suite, Pipez, and Modular Routers.
• Performance: Sodium, Lithium, FerriteCore, and ModernFix, so it runs light for a 78-mod pack.
• Quality of life: JEI and Jade (both with first-party Productive Frogs integration), Xaero's maps, and a stack of small conveniences swept over from the sibling pack Sky Frogs.

Running it

Play it through the CurseForge app, or import the pack zip into Prism, MultiMC, or ATLauncher. It needs NeoForge for Minecraft 26.1.2 and a Java 21+ runtime.

Built around Productive Frogs. Every other mod belongs to its author; this pack just curates and configures them. Pack definition, issues, and changelog are open source on GitHub.
