This modpack adds tons of content while still trying to provide a decent vanilla-hard like challange. Overpowered enchantments or spells are disabled or nerfed.
Challenges/Settings
Villagers
Villagers cannot bread nor can they switch profession once they have one. This makes villagers very valuable and gives players incentive to find more villagers in the world. Some villages are overrun and will only have enemy mobs. Sometimes villagers can be found outside of villages like on boats.
Healing from food
Start off with more hp than usual. However regeneration by food is very slow. Healing can be done through sleeping, spells and potions.
Reviving
If you die, you will enter a dying state from which you can be revived or, if you have enough xp, can try to self revive at the cost of some levels. The revival of another player will reward the savior some xp.
Dying
When you do die a totem of holding will retain your items. If you die again before retrieving your last totem, the previous totem will be destroyed, dropping the items on the floor.
Day cycle
A day will take 16 minutes. The night takes 9 minutes. Sleep to speed up the time.
Bed Comfort
Sleep to recover hp at the cost of food saturation. Sleeping in a familiar area will allow for better sleeping quality just as sleeping in a better bed does.
Waystones
Waystones can be found or crafted. Traveling cost are fixed regardless of distance. However traveling to another dimension will cost more xp. For shorter distances it might be better to use a good old horse to get around.
How to enable shaders
This modpack comes with Complementary shaders installed which makes the game look fantastic. The shader settings are not forced with updates. This means that players can have their own settings.
to Enable/disable:
