Introduction/Backstory of Update

I didn't think there would be a Questing Mayhem 0.15.3 Full. I thought that after 0.15.2 Full, I would start working on 0.16. Well, 0.15.2 Full was released on August 24th, 2019 and I did not really do any more work to Questing Mayhem until the day I am writing this, October 19th, 2019. The reason for this is, long story short, school. I have not had an entirely free weekend since school start (7 weeks ago for me). This has serverely limited the amount of time I can work on Questing Mayhem to... none. Until now.

I got a chance to sit down and decided to work on Questing Mayhem development. I was encouraged by a video I saw of Snoop787 & Sarah J playing Questing Mayhem. In that video, they encountered several broken (and hard) recipes. They expressed their complaints in the video and I realized that something needed to be done... about the broken recipes... not the hard recipes. So I loaded up Questing Mayhem and fixed all of the bugs in 0.15.2 Full that had been documented and I knew about. They were all pretty small bugs, but when you have 23 "small" bugs in a modpack, well.... they started to add up. Questing Mayhem should be more playable now. Still as rage-inducing as ever, though. That will never change.

I am going to go ahead put the IP and instructions for how to join the official Questing Mayhem server here. The official Questing Mayhem is kindly provided by Apex Minecraft Hosting for free. As of October 19th, 2019, the official Questing Mayhem server is on Questing Mayhem version 0.15.2 Full, but it will be updated to 0.15.3 Full soon. Check discord for more up to date and frequent updates, and you know… to join the server.

To join the Official Questing Mayhem server whitelist, first join the discord server and then click the link in the #whitelist channel. This will take you to a google forum. Fill out the forum and soon enough you will be whitelisted to the server. I apologize for any inconvenience.

Discord Stuff

Me being in school and not having any free time also explains why I have not been very active in the community as of late. I would not be seen Monday through Friday at all and then would only log onto discord during the weekends to clear my notifications. Unfortunately, I still see this being the case for the foreseeable future and I apologize for that. 

However, during that time, some exciting developments have happened on the discord server even without me being active! The one I want to mention first is that the discord has three relatively-new staff members. These are discord users grace, D34TH_4NG3L (AKA Fytch), & Mercy. Grace has proven themselves to be an absolutely amazing staff member and always keeps up with the discord even when that seems near impossible. Fytch is also a prodominent member & staff of the discord and helps out. Finally, Mercy has fulfilled the role of official server staff. That role was needed for a long time and I am happy to report that they have done a phenomenal job. Congratulations to all three.

I also must give a shoutout to discord users Nick & Dark Lightning or Sneaky Dark or whatever they go by now. These two have stood with me through thick and thin and given me the encouragement and criticism in the times where I need it. In addition to that, they have helped out with the community as a whole for as long as I can remember. I don't know where the community would be without Nick and Dark, but I don't think it would be where it is today without them. So thank you, Nick & Dark, for everything. And I am so sorry Nick that your temporary/permanent(?) leave has essentially not been a leave. You deserve to take as much time off as you want and I don't feel like I'm always allowing you to do that. So I am sorry. I hope I can improve in the future.
