What's new

Economy Overhaul

  • Replaced the old credit system with Lightman's Currency — physical, wallet-based money.
  • New currency tiers, themed for the setting: Scrap (base unit), Spare Part (=10 Scrap), Tactical Component (=100 Scrap).
  • All quest rewards now pay out in coins directly — no more broken command payouts.
  • Added LCompat for Waystones travel costs and Lightman's-powered chunk purchases.

Claims & Parties Overhaul

  • Replaced Open Parties and Claims with FTB Chunks + FTB Teams.
  • Claims are now party-owned: form a squad with /ftbteams party create <name>, claim chunks together with /ftbchunks claim.
  • Base claim size: 2 chunks per player, scaling with party size. Complete the "Primer chunk" quest for a 3rd chunk, or buy more with Tactical Components (/lcclaims buy claim).
  • Swapped JourneyMap for Xaero's Minimap + World Map.

Essentials Split

  • Homes, TPA, warps, spawn and RTP now run on FTB Essentials.
  • Kits, moderation, chat and tablist stay on NeoEssentials.
  • Starting kits now include starter Scrap and the FTB Quests book.

Quests: 32 → 40

  • Every quest reward converted from currency commands to real coin items.
  • New repeatable "Mercado Negro" (Black Market) quest: trade Tactical Components for a random Artifacts item — gambling included.
  • El Taller expanded from 5 to 9 quests — a proper Create tech chain: andesite alloy → cogwheels → mechanical press → mechanical saw → deployer → brass → Mekanism → AE2.
  • El Frente gained 3 new standalone bounties: skeletons, spiders, and drowned (on top of the existing zombie/creeper ones and the Cazador kill-ladder).
  • The "Despierta" welcome quest now also rolls a free random Artifacts item.

Artifacts Integration

  • Artifacts + Curios slots increased across the board (head, necklace, hands, feet, belt) via a global datapack — more trinket capacity without loosening slot-type restrictions.
  • New weighted loot table with 40+ real Artifacts items feeding the welcome quest and the Black Market.

Fixes

  • Fixed Carry On conflicting with Easy Villager (villagers no longer pickable).
  • Cleaned up leftover references to the old claims/economy systems in quest text.
