Regular tools are gone, so you must rely on Tinker's Construct (and as many addons as I could fit) to create weapons, armor, and tools. Make sure to fully upgrade them using Apotheosis and take advantage of the fact that enchanting these custom tools is not only possible, but recommended.
Plenty of exploration mods, biomes, and bossfights!
Custom progression will bring you through the Nether, Aether, Twilight Forest and the End.
