Improves JEI performance by excluding generated Tinkers' Construct tools and parts from JEI's global ingredient index.
Tinkers JEI Prefilter is a small performance compatibility mod for Minecraft 1.20.1.
Large Tinkers' Construct installations with many addons can generate tens of thousands of material variants for tools and tool parts. JEI normally processes these variants when building its global ingredient index, even when they are later hidden from the ingredient list.
This mod filters items tagged #tconstruct:modifiable and #tconstruct:parts before they enter JEI's global ingredient index.
This reduces the amount of work JEI performs when loading worlds, particularly in modpacks containing many Tinkers' Construct addons.
The mod does not remove the tools or parts from Minecraft. They remain usable in gameplay, Creative Mode, Tinkers' crafting systems, and recipes. It only prevents those generated variants from being added to JEI's global searchable ingredient list.
