RealMine is a realistic modpack that aims to make the game more focused on its survival aspect, without making it too difficult, while still being fun to play.

Version guidance:

1.x: A difficult experience focusing purely on realism
2.x: An easier, realistic experience that expands into areas like Sci-Fi tech, and a little bit of RPG.

3.x: A complete remake of the pack with a focus on Create: Aeronautics (coming soon)

Yes, there are quests in the pack, but only on version 1.7+

New, reworked villagers with emotions and dialogue.
Realistic physics.
Automation and mechanisms. (Create 5 only up until 2.0)
Thirst and temperature.
Ships that you can build and find in the world to sail the seas.

Backpacks that you can make to expand your inventory.
A lot of new, realistic mobs.
Realistic torches that burn out over time.
Ability to chisel blocks to make custom decorations.
More realistic terrain generation and DH support!

Air is needed to go deep in caves / go up a lot in the mountains.
Sleeping doesn't skip time instantly.
Seasons with changes in temperature and crop growth.
Mobs are much smarter; they can break blocks and react to each other (version 1.2+ only)
Custom main menu and loading screen (version 1.3+ only)
Backstories (starter gear) that you can choose once per world (version 1.4+ only)
Planes that you can build and fly to explore the world faster (version 1.5+ only)
Ores only spawn in caves (no strip mining) (version 1.5+ only)
Realistic vehicles which you can build and drive in (version 1.6+ only)
Mobs can hear the sounds you make (works with proximity VC) (version 1.6+ only)
