- Blitzruf: „Den Blitz rufen“ verlangt Regen statt Gewitter.

Summary
- New players choose their people and calling in the Hall of the Tidewatch, no longer in a menu. A new figure, the Keeper of Dragons, joins the Hall.
- Paladin level 4 needs Moondust.
- Warlock: Dowsing Rod and Otherworld Goggles from level 2, plus two new signature items.
- Humanoid peoples climb stairs and slabs again without jumping.
- New Logbook chapters for every people and dragon kind, plus the Void, the Village and the Star Tree.
- The dragon statues return to the Hall.
- More stability: protection against a crash caused by ball lightning, and stages are re-sent to the client after login and respawn.
- Update required: clients that are not on 1.2.0 are disconnected from the server.
Important when updating
- Update the modpack in the CurseForge app before you join. The server checks the version. If you still play 1.1.1, you can connect, but you are disconnected after about 45 seconds with a notice. Your character takes no damage during that time.
- The world stays. Your character, builds and inventory are kept.
- The mods are unchanged compared to 1.1.1. No mod is added and none is removed.
Hall and first choice
- You choose people and calling in the Hall. New players, and anyone using
/moonshard reset, speak to the Warden of the Hall, pick a people there and then a calling. At the statues and with the teachers you can read about the options and choose. - Second calling: choose it with the teacher.
- Keeper of Dragons: a new figure in the Hall (26 figures now) explains the dragons.
- Dragon statues: the three statues stand in the Hall again.
- Choosing "None, later" now also points you to the teachers in the Hall.
Callings
- Paladin level 4: helmet, leggings and boots now require Moondust. This is stated in the calling's chapter and in the help book.
- Warlock: the Dowsing Rod and the Otherworld Goggles are available to every Warlock from level 2, and the milestone names both. Familiar Ring and Shield of the Deep are new Warlock signatures. Two passages in the chapter text were corrected (Shield of the Deep, pact).
- Bard, Rogue and Fighter: the starting quests now explain what to do. Ten lever texts have their own opening, twelve tasks name the Void ingredient, and the path to level two and the choice of path are described in the milestone.
Gameplay
- Step height: humanoid peoples (for example Miqo'te) could not climb stairs and slabs without jumping, because their body size reduced the step height twice. This is now compensated. Dragons are not affected.
- Experience (PMMO): combat experience for Vampirism mobs and for the Alpha Werewolf follows their actual health. Plants from mods (for example Mystical Agriculture) give growth experience, graded by the plant's tier.
- Stages: your own stages are sent to your client again after login and after respawn, so your client always knows the correct state.
- Ball lightning: a server crash caused by ball lightning from foreign owners is now intercepted.
Logbook and quests
- New chapters for the peoples: Ghosts, Zephyrs, Saurians, Miqo'te, Tieflings, Goblins, Mountain Folk, Wood Elves and Valen each have their own chapter.
- New chapters for the dragon kinds: Sea Dragon, Cave Dragon and Forest Dragon.
- Mod chapters: "Where the Moon Was" leads into the Void, plus the Village and the Notice Board with signposts.
- Star Tree: nineteen tasks lead through the Star Tree. The achievements Tidal Moon and Lightning Call were added.
- Lightning Call: "Call the Lightning" requires rain instead of a thunderstorm. No thunderstorm forms in winter, and the Logbook now says so.
- Cave Dragon and Village: "The Egg of the Wild" warns about the dragons, "Hero of the Village" about the raid.
- Rewards: many chapters no longer give blocks as rewards. The Nether goals name the Combat ten threshold.
- Texts: grammar, titles and English translations were revised in many places.
Server and update
- Version check: when you join, your client reports its pack version. If it does not match or no report arrives, the server removes you after 45 seconds at most. The message tells you to update your profile in CurseForge.
- Mods: no change compared to 1.1.1.
Known points
- If you join with a profile that reports a different version, the disconnect screen may only show "Disconnected". The reason is still the version: update your profile.
