Moonshard is a German-language, invite-only hardcore modpack for Minecraft 1.20.1 (Forge). It is built for one server and one group of players, and it is tuned around a single idea: no single player can reach the endgame alone.
Peoples and callings. On your first login you choose one of twelve peoples, from cave dragons and vampires to constructs and forest elves, and one of twelve callings such as Artificer, Paladin, Warlock, Druid or Ranger. Both choices are permanent. Every calling has four tiers and three subclasses, unlocked through Project MMO skills. Each tier opens signature recipes that only that calling can craft: the Tinkers' smeltery belongs to the Artificer, the petal apothecary to the Druid, the blood altar to the Blood Mage. Netherite, dragonsteel and the machines of the Void exist only as team efforts.
Hardcore with a safety net. One life, but a public pardon system: a dead player can be brought back by the group, at a cost, with a wait, and never silently.
The world. Dragon Survival with full dragon growth, riding and flight. Vampirism with slower village takeovers. Ice and Fire, Cataclysm, Twilight Forest and Mowzie's bosses on a shared difficulty curve, mob levels that grow with distance from spawn, Apotheosis affixes gated by dimension and calling tier. MineColonies for the town, Create, Mekanism, Applied Energistics and Tinkers' Construct for the industry, Epic Fight for combat, FTB Quests as a guide rather than a checklist.
The Void. A separate dimension for the endgame, with its own customs at the gate: what you carry in must be honest, and what you bring back is what you are.
Server-side rules, not honor rules. Every restriction is enforced by scripts and the Mod Whitelist checks client jars by hash, so everyone plays the same pack. Client-only mods for shaders, HUD and light overlays are optional.
Updates come through this project so nobody has to hand around zip files. The pack is maintained for our own server; feel free to look, but it is not tuned for public play.
