Monkey Business: Primal Realms

Go wild. Build your realm.

Primal Realms begins with a focused Minecraft 26.3 foundation using NeoForge 26.3.0.84 and Java 25. The jungle expedition and ancient temple theme gives Monkey Business its own identity while the current pack keeps the game close to vanilla.

Included in the foundation

• Just Enough Items (JEI): browse items and recipes.
• Jade: see information about the blocks and entities you look at.
• FerriteCore: memory-use optimisations; no FPS or low-spec guarantee is claimed.
• Mouse Tweaks: client inventory-handling conveniences.

JEI includes its MezzConfig dependency. Mouse Tweaks belongs on the client, not the dedicated server.

Two tracks

Preview is our staging/test track. Its test-world progress may reset.

Stable is intended for the matching main-server foundation release. Choose the file for your intended track and match the stated Minecraft and loader versions.

Both tracks use the same foundation content. Hosted server startup, normal shutdown, world saving and restart checks have passed. Native client gameplay, ordinary-player permissions and representative performance/load testing remain open; this page does not claim those checks passed.

Shared v1.00 server companion

Preview 1.00-preview.1 and Stable 1.00-stable.1 use the same server mod baseline: JEI 31.13.0.68 (embedded MezzConfig 0.6.6), Jade 26.3.5 and FerriteCore 9.0.0. Both client tracks remain separate downloads.

Download the shared v1.00 server companion. The approved additional-file attachment is #9207551 under the Preview client release #9205826; use this identical archive for either foundation track. A second identical Stable attachment was rejected as a duplicate, so we do not distribute a re-upload. This link does not promise an automatic Stable server-pack button.

Archive SHA-256: 96e837d4ca7d57e40dee11cf744e8ea2920706bf8af190fe388e057507b2619e (3,273,091 bytes). Use Java 25 and the official NeoForge 26.3.0.84 installer separately, then follow INSTALL.txt and retain all notices. No Minecraft/Java/loader binaries, world/player data or private host settings are included. These exact mod bytes have hosted startup/save/reload and matching-client evidence; a fresh standalone archive installation/generated launchers have not been separately tested. No 69-player or lower-spec guarantee.

This is a noncommercial community pack. Jade by Snownee remains unchanged under CC-BY-NC-SA 4.0; no commercial-use exception is granted. JEI and FerriteCore retain their MIT notices.

Planned later

More varied biomes and living ecosystems, a branded hub, post-join BlockMonkey character selection without swords, classes, shops and adventures are roadmap work. They are not included in this foundation release. The branding illustration is AI-generated promotional artwork, not an in-game screenshot or a render of an implemented character selector.

Before playing

Use the exact versions listed for the chosen release. Back up existing saves before testing a new pack or game version. Preview is for testing; keep important saves separate. Public download availability depends on completed package submission and moderation.
