Modernized Golden Age started out as a private pack for just a few friends of mine that turned into something others wanted to play! Re-experience modern Minecraft through these nostalgia tinted glasses. The theme for this modpack is what Minecraft could have been. The theme isn't to modify Minecraft drastically, but to refine what is already there. Some short examples of what this modpack offers are old world gen while retaining changes from the Caves and Cliffs update, toggle-able old visuals, variety of structures to explore, refined versions of existing biomes and dimensions and new ones, a more lively world with ambient sounds and little visual effects, Herobrine, cut mobs, smarter mobs, new hostile mobs, and harder overall difficulty that scales with the number players in the server to always ensure a challenge, stability and performance mods, and QOL improvements to recipes and gameplay. With all these changes, you might be able to relieve the good ol' days, without having to sacrifice improvements introduced in newer versions.
TL;DR This modpack is a very fine balance of vanilla+ and QOL mods, in addition to features that were previously vanilla.
This modpack isn't anything super special or unique, but does it need to be? Some people, maybe you, the person reading this, appreciate a purely, "Vanilla+" experience that includes some of the functionality listed above.
