Mining Southward

Version 2.0, We're mining further southward!

This modpack is a collection of several interlocking systems of resource gathering designed to give you a more involved, challenging, and thoughtful, play-through.

What was once a mild kitchen-sink lite pack with and emphasis on exploration and loot gathering has evolved into a more 'hard-core' leaning pack that has nearly all the relevant recipes planned out and staged for a more involved experience. Raw materials are specific to biomes and dimensions, those raw materials and resources are processed and refined through the tech of various mods, components are isolated to various crafting systems, and [most] machines are constructed rather than simply crafted. All the while you will be able to enhance your character and progress through a simplified quest book that develops various themes and lore as you journey.

Most things will have two or more ways to acquire them. Some items will be available by completing bounties, or in exchange for uranium. Others will be found in loot bags, dungeons, and defeating bosses. But there are a few easter eggs and special items that will only be attained by the most dedicated explorers...
