INGENUITY EXPERT
Ingenuity is an "expert"-style mod pack with quests that focuses heavily on freedom of choice, liberal use of modular machines, and a custom circuit system ala Gregtech made with ContentTweaker.
Mobs have been buffed and locked behind progression.
Progression has been modified to require cross-mod interaction. Sometimes, while not mandatory, it can provide additional benefits.
Ingenuity is progression based, with the end goal being obtaining the Creative Storage Key. To do this, you will need items from every mod - but the journey there is entirely up to you. For every option that leads into another mod, there will be at least two options. The Twilight Forest has a Botania, Thaumcraft, and Immersive Engineering route of getting in: which one you decide to pursue is up to you. The quest book will point you towards possible routes you may take.
Ingenuity also overhauls and removes large chunks of content from each mod in an effort to streamline and balance its experience. Unnecessarily microcrafty components have been removed and standardized to something more in line with your possible routes of progression. Most passive power generators have been entirely removed or rebalanced, too: pushing you towards more interesting sources of power such as Botanical Mana or coke-enhanced creosote.
The pack is currently in a beta state, and is subject to heavy change.
