Marshlight Horizons is an exploration and building pack for Minecraft 1.21.1. It isn't a grind and it isn't a kitchen sink. It's a world with roads to follow, food worth cooking, machines worth building, and a light on the horizon that always seems to be a little further out.

⚙ Build with Create

The pack is built around Create and a long list of its best add-ons. Windmills and waterwheels, trains on Steam 'n' Rails, and full airships with Create: Aeronautics — build one, crew it, and go find the edge of the map.

Copycats, Deco, Encased, Dragons Plus, Dreams n' Desires, Interiors, Bells & Whistles and more are all in, so your contraptions can look as good as they run.

🏰 Raise a colony

MineColonies with a pile of add-ons: Let's Do integration, Trade Post, Colony Logistics, Greenhouse Gardener and Pathfinding Edition. Start with a builder and a hut, end with a town that feeds itself.

✨ Four schools of magic

Ars Nouveau for spellcrafting, Iron's Spells 'n Spellbooks for the flashy stuff, Primal Magick for the slow research path, and Hexerei for the witchy corner of the woods. Plus Ars add-ons: Elemental, Additions, Creo, Technica and Hex.

🍲 Food worth cooking

The whole Let's Do family — Bakery, Brewery, Candlelight, Vinery, Meadow, Farm & Charm, Beachparty, HerbalBrews and more — on top of Farmer's Delight and a dozen delight add-ons. Butchery for proper meat processing, Nutritional Balance so eating well matters, and seasons from Ecliptic Seasons that change what grows and when.

🧭 A world built for exploring

Tectonic and Regions Unexplored reshape the terrain. YUNG's overhauls, When Dungeons Arise, Dungeons and Taverns, Integrated Dungeons & Seven Seas, ChoiceTheorem's Overhauled Villages and Towns and Towers fill it in. Via Romana lets you build roads that actually speed you up, and Lootr means everyone gets their own loot from a chest — no racing your friends to the barrel.

🪙 A real economy

Create: Numismatics gives the world coins, and Loose Change (written for this pack) makes villagers accept any mix of them and give you change back. No more hoarding 48 spurs because the trade won't take a crown.

200+ quests across 8 chapters walk you from your first night to airships and bosses without ever telling you what to do next. The Traveler's Guide book covers the pack's own rules — claiming, roads, magic, travel — in plain language.

FTB Chunks claims, FTB Teams, Simple Voice Chat in-game, Corpse and Hardcore Revival so a death isn't a disaster, and AeroClaims so airships respect claims.

Notes

• Needs 8 GB RAM minimum; 10–12 GB recommended. Allocate it in your launcher before reporting lag.
• First launch takes a while. That's normal for 340+ mods.
• Report issues on the Discord rather than the comments — it's much faster.
