🪙 Loose Change
Villager trades that cost currency now work on total value, and you get change back.
In vanilla, a trade priced at 48 spurs won't take a single crown, even though a crown is worth ten times as much. Loose Change fixes that.
What it does
- Pay with any mix of coins. The trade goes through as long as what you put in is worth enough.
- Get change back. Overpay and the difference comes back as coins, largest denomination first.
- Smart auto-fill. Clicking a trade fills the payment slots with the smallest handful of coins that covers it, not your whole purse.
- Everything else stays vanilla. Trades that cost normal goods, and the goods half of a "goods + coins" trade, work exactly as before.
Works with
- Create: Numismatics out of the box: spur, bevel, sprocket, cog, crown and sun.
- Any other currency mod: add its coins to the config with one line each.
- Standalone: if no listed coin is installed, the mod simply does nothing.
Config
config/loosechange-common.toml
toml
coinValues = [
"numismatics:spur=1",
"numismatics:bevel=8",
"numismatics:sprocket=16",
"numismatics:cog=64",
"numismatics:crown=512",
"numismatics:sun=4096"
]
Format is namespace:item=value. Values are whole numbers (1 to 1,000,000). Items that aren't installed are ignored.
Notes
