Disclaimer
This is a medieval-themed modpack I put together for me and some friends to play on a server. It's my first modpack, so it's likely not as polished as Feed the Beast and what not. In addition it is not thoroughly tested, so things might be unbalanced or unfitting. Most bugs should be ruled out tho.
Content
The pack is centered around Ice & Fire. We have Tinker's Construct and Medieval Weaponry for more interesting combat. In the magic department there are Hexerei, Blood Magic and Ars Nouveau and for the tinkerers among you, there is Create, so you can build some fancy contraptions. For fresh and new biomes we have Oh the Biomes You'll go and interesting, mod-integrated dungeons and structures from Integrated Dungeons and Structures plus Integrated Stronghold to upgrade that too, as well as some minor structures and nuances from some of Yung's Better Worldgen mods and Repurposed Structures. In case you want even more to explore and conquer, Twilight Forest is also thrown into the mix.
There are also more food (Farmer's Delight + Add-ons), animals (Alex's Mobs) and monsters (misc) to make the world more lively.
The pack contains a lot of visual overhaul and performance optimization mods from the get go.
Overall content-wise it's rather small, because it's supposed to be playable for people who never played modded before.
The mod's page, with a comprehensive mod list, the changelog and current development notes can be found here. (I know it needs some clean-up)
Known Issues
- Rendering the model of the Book of Shadows from the mod Hexerei with the mod Oculus enabled, crashes the game
- The server pack is compiled as client pack and therefore has to be manually setup before it is usable (will be fixed)
- CraftTweaker shows some warnings upon joining a world. They are non-critical. I just didn't find a way to deactivate them.
- Chunks sometimes don't render (rejoining fixes this)
- Some of the added Weapons are redundant or duplicate
- Sometimes, most often on your first join in a world, all entities, including the players are simply not rendered. Can only be fixed by restarting the game.
- The Serverpack contains some unidentified client-only mods, which however are not critical to remove
