So, to see how TekTopia differs from our usual Minecolonies favourite, we assembled this hopefully fun little pack.
Base: TekTopia.
As stated in TangoTek's wiki, the FAQ states the mod has not been configured to work specifically with any other mods. So, there may be incompatibilities in this listing. Where I've been following their discord, I've removed any serious game changers that could affect crops and animal husbandry.
- Apple Core & Apple skin - better food level and saturation points
- ArchitectureCraft - unlike Minecolonies, there are no builders or block crafters in TekTopia, you will have to craft all the buildings yourself.
- Armor Plus & Tiny Progressions - while some say these mods are op or break the game, I just love my Repair Tablet and Dragon armour - among a few other fun things in these mods.
- ATL Craft Candles - prettier candles and lanterns
- Backpacks! cause your inventory is just not big enough!
- Biomes O' Plenty for more biome choices. JourneyMap (I like to know where I'm going and have been)
- Earthworks, Quark, Extended Days (this does work, but make sure your villagers get some sleep or they lose morale), Fast Leaf Decay (though the lumberjack is decent at clearing trees)
- Birds Nests & Bonsai Trees for personal use outside of your village.
- Cooking for Blockheads and Pam's - There have been some reported issues with Pam's Harvest Craft where villagers will get stuck on the gardens and dance in them. Make sure these are cleaned up around your village.
- Corail Recycler - to break down the stuff you don't want to keep.
- Cosmetic Armor to hide the clunky armour and show off your skin.
- Custom NPCs if you want more help with guards and shops.
- Immersive Engineering for custom steampunk fun :)
- JEI, JER, Just enough IDs so that you can find what you need and not worry about missing items
- Little Tiles for small fun details, custom doors, and make your own furniture
- Storage Drawers, and EZ Storage2 for mass storage solutions outside of the village.
- Tinkers and addons - for those who love tinkering
- World Edit and Schematica to bring in your own customer schematics and for large scale landscaping.
- Waystones to connect your villages together.
- Torchmaster to deal with keeping those pesky mobs away from your buildings.
- Tomb Many Graves - so you can recover your belongings and they're not just laying around to despawn.
Many of these mods have their own wikis and help files, as well as Discord channels. So, if you get stuck, there are resources you can find. Not included in this pack, but encouraged if you want to run this on a server would be Forge Essentials.
Unlike Minecolonies, there are no grief or zone protections with TekTopia - so you'll want this for multiplayer to set up claims, spawn and anti-grief zones.
