Legend of Notch Reincarnation

The one-click install of The Legend of Notch: Reincarnation — the 2013 story RPG mod, rebuilt from the ground up for Forge 1.8.8 and finally finished. This pack bundles Forge, the mod and the hand-built story world; install it from the CurseForge app and press Play.

237 years ago, a hero defeated Herobrine — but his power wasn't enough to free Notch, sealed in a giant statue in the farlands. Everyone has been waiting for the hero who can. That hero is you.

What's inside

• The mod — Legend of Notch: Reincarnation, always the latest release
• The story world — the original's hand-built map: Port Juno, the frozen village, the jungle village, the desert pyramid, the Vulcano and Notch's statue at the edge of the world
• Forge 1.8.8 (11.15.0.1655). Nothing else to install.

The game

• A complete RPG campaign from your first wooden sword to the final battle — and then The Darkness, the last chapter the original announced but never shipped
• 5 classes (Warrior, Mage, Assassin, Berserker, Archer), each with its own weapon line and a class ultimate on B
• 12 boss fights, illustrated cutscenes, side quests, a living town of 19 NPCs with shops and dialogue
• Level cap 75, attribute points, Melee and Arcane Mastery skill trees, and a physical coin economy
• A quest guide (G) with light-beam waypoints, live objective counters, a minimap, and an RPG death screen

Getting started

Load the included world, walk to Commander Ryan at the west gate, and pick a class. The tutorial covers the controls. Best in singleplayer or small co-op (open to LAN works).
