Leading Edge is a modpack curated and developed primarily to introduce people to some of the scene's greatest mods, and be a 'gateway' for people new to modpacks or the recently successful mods. If you haven't played in a long time, this is the modpack for you!
Leading Edge contains a Quest system that's designed to guide you through these new mods and highlight some of the best items and blocks in each one. These are mostly crafting or gathering quests, meant to encourage you to progress in each mod.
Leading Edge's philosophies are:
1. No superfluous or redundant mods. If the only reason to add it is "why not", we won't! Each mod must add something valuable.
2. No mobs more annoying than a Skeleton. If you have to summon it or visit another dimension to get to it, that's OK, but any mobs spawning normally in the Overworld must follow this rule.
3. No superfluous or redundant ores. No mods that add new metals just for the sake of having more metals!
Version 0.24 - Many updates, a couple of new mods, and a name change... due to the possibility of an upcoming move to 1.10.2, we dropped the version number from the name!
