- Added Relics as the main curio system from now on and Reworked the curio slot system - Explained further in the new Last Ascension Changes quest tab!
- 8 New Ascendants (They have placeholder textures)
- Minor Mage and Engineer ability rework
- Rarities are now tied to dimensions again and gems now have rarities
- Redid most gems, shifting the overwhelming balance from melee weapons and chestplates into other types of gear
BUFFS
- All armor now adds 10 armor per piece
- All gems: stat bonus portion is now double (50% compared to 25%)
- All Burst Rifles: Magazine size increased by 6
- Invisibility is now no longer removed by attacking or being discovered
- Wild Rage chance increased from 10% to 30%
- Reduced Flamewind Emberstorm damage and max chains from 10 to 5 (Note: despite the stat and damage being reduced this is actually a buff, because previously the chain damage would outright kill mobs instead of jumping to another mob and chaining properly)
NERFS (Most of these are because of sweeping gameplay changes, in reality not that bad as it may seem.)
- Increased roll cooldown
- All classes Except Archer now passively have no combat rolls
- Reduced boss unique drop chance from 50% to 33%
- Damage and crit chance stats now no longer appear on weapons
- Reduced Smoke Bomb invis time from 10 to 5 seconds
- Backpacks can now only have one upgrade slot, and total slots per tier reduced. Starting at 27 and increasing by 9 with every tier
- Endermaptera now no longer drop gorp coins
- Reduced Chain-Burst Shotgun damage from 6 to 4 to be more in line with other shotguns
- Reduced Carapice magazine capacity and fire rate by 50%
- Burst Rifle damage reduced from 4 to 3
- Payload explosion resistance duration reduced from 20 to 5 seconds
- Shield Bash now requires you to be blocking before activating
- Removed Front Lines passive double armor bonus
- Skulk armor set bonus total reduced from 400% to 40%
- Boots no longer get additional combat rolls, now movement speed instead, up to a 50% bonus
- Tyrannical Gem chestplate bonus now gets a -25% to armor
CHANGES/FIXES
- Certain enemies will now drop gateways very rarely
- Fixed bosses health scaling improperly in multiplayer
- Fixed bosses not dropping correct rewards in multiplayer
- Fixed banned items still being visible on the ground if they dropped in the world
- Removed mob health increase with difficulty, now more challenging enemies spawn instead, and certain enemies inflict devastating status effects
- Fixed difficulty modes not increasing experience gains
- Adjusted the health of some bosses to be more fair/challenging
- Fixed some Twilight Forest bosses having the "Darktouched" affix, making them harder to fight and randomly unfair
- Zombies should now no longer spawn so many reinforcements that the game ends up crashing
- Normal explosions should no longer destroy items dropped on the ground
- Mage spells rebalanced
- Fixed Locust having a faster reload time compared to other burst rifles
- Swapped Pyroclastic Flow and Dark Matter drop sources
- Mowzies Mobs bosses can now be resummoned
