Journeys of Those Who Remain is modpack for those who want to freshen up the Vanilla experience with more places to go and more things to see; countless new monsters, structures, flora, fauna, and biomes, without a high performance requirement!
NOTE: THIS MODPACK IS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH OPTIFINE. It uses Rubidium, which is a Forge port of Sodium, to increase performance. Any and all shaders should still work, however, thanks to the mod Oculus.
If you try to start a new world and it doesn't load, try again. It is likely a seed-dependent issue as a consequence of having so many world-generation mods.
- This pack is designed to perform consistently well for multiplayer, and should not require more than 6 GB of RAM.
- Using shaders is not recommended, but a lightweight to medium shaders might maintain good performance.
- The major source of lag in this pack, at least from my testing, was loading new (never-before-loaded) chunks. (Let me know if you experience something different, please and thank you!)
- There are no config changes in this pack, I used the default settings for everything.
- I have no association with any of the mods or creators, I just wanted to put something together showing off mods I think work well together.
- I plan to add more to this pack in the future, but I do what I want, so no promises! (Any suggestions would be great though!)

This modpack is my first project, intended to add some new excitement and encourage exploration. Any and all feedback is greatly appreciated.
