IW SMP Season 2 | v2

Season 2 v2 is here!

This update is primarily focused on quality of life, storage, visual improvements, shaders, and Create integration, along with replacing the previous death system and cleaning up several relic-related mods.

💀 New Corpse System

GraveStone has been removed and replaced with Corpse.

When you die, your items will now be handled through the Corpse system instead of the previous gravestone system.

Additional compatibility has also been added for:

• Cosmetic Armor Reworked
• Curios

This should provide a cleaner death and item-recovery system while maintaining compatibility with equipment from other parts of the pack.

📦 Storage Expansion

Tom's Simple Storage Mod has been added, giving players another option for connecting and accessing large storage networks without requiring a full Applied Energistics setup.

New additions include:

• Tom's Simple Storage Mod
• Tom's Create Style
• Create Style Sophisticated Backpacks
• Create Style Sophisticated Storages

This also brings more of the pack's storage systems visually in line with Create for players building Create-focused bases and factories.

⚙️ Create Additions

A few more additions and improvements have joined the increasingly unreasonable Create ecosystem:

• Better Create Glass Pipes
• Create: Gunsmithing & Shader Fix
• Tom's Create Style
• Create Style Sophisticated Backpacks
• Create Style Sophisticated Storages

Create continues to consume the modpack one addon at a time.

We have elected not to stop it.

🎨 Shaders & Visual Improvements

Shader support has received a major upgrade with the addition of:

• Iris Shaders
• Complementary Shaders - Reimagined
• Complementary Shaders - Unbound
• Create: Gunsmithing & Shader Fix
• Darker Pipez

Players now have additional options for improving the visual appearance of the pack, particularly if your PC is brave enough to look at 450+ mods and ask for more graphics.

🌱 Farming & Quality of Life

Additional smaller gameplay and quality-of-life mods have also been added:

• Fertilization
• Camol
• BaguetteLib

These support additional functionality and integrations introduced with v2.

🗑️ Removed Mods

The following mods have been removed:

• GraveStone Mod
• More Relics
• Reliquified L_Ender's Cataclysm
• Reliquified L_Ender's Cataclysm New Relics Fix

The previous GraveStone system has been replaced by Corpse.

The additional Cataclysm relic integrations and More Relics have also been removed as part of cleanup to the relic ecosystem.

🔧 Mod Updates

In addition to the new and removed mods, 9 existing mods received file/version updates as part of v2.

Various configuration files have also been added or adjusted to support the new mods and integrations.

⚠️ Important

As always, make sure you are running the correct version of the pack before connecting to the server.

Because the death system has changed from GraveStone to Corpse, players should also be aware that deaths are now handled by a different mod.
