0.1.3 — Fixes the 0.1.2 crash

If you are on 0.1.2, please update. The inventory sorting mod added in 0.1.2 could crash the game on a multiplayer server, and it has been replaced. Sorry about that — 0.1.2 shipped it after testing sorting, but not after testing pick-block.

Nothing else changed: no world content, no recipes, no other mods.

🩹 Fixed: crash when middle-clicking on a server

Inventory Profiles Next could crash the client with IndexOutOfBoundsException when you middle-clicked (Pick Block) while playing on a multiplayer server. The mod's locked-slots keeper read the player inventory using an out-of-range slot index, and the crash path could not be turned off in its config.

The bug is in the mod itself, on the latest build available for 1.21.1 (2.2.5), so there was nothing to update to.

🔄 Changed: sorting is now Client Sort

Inventory Profiles Next and its library libIPN are out. Client Sort is in, and it does the same job: sort your inventory, chests, drawers and backpacks with a key or the sort button.

  • The sorting hotkey is middle mouse button by default — rebind it in Options → Controls if you prefer.
  • Sorting method, and whether it sorts on hover, are configurable in Mods → Client Sort → Config.
  • It is client-side, so nothing changes for servers, and your locked-slot setup from 0.1.2 (if you made one) is simply gone with the mod.

Shoulder Surfing Reloaded — the GTA-style third person camera added in 0.1.2 — stays exactly as it was.

📋 Notes

  • Mod count: 238 → 237 (two out, one in).
  • The mouse-wheel overlap warning from 0.1.2 no longer applies: Client Sort does not touch the wheel, so Mouse Tweaks now owns it alone.
