FBP V6-α
What's new
Now then let's get this out of the way first...
I haven't done minecraft in months. But hey might as well make an update of sorts before the New Year!
Suffice it to say, this time around while this version may be classified as "Alpha", it's more or less usable. It's again only like this since it's missing a good chunk of the mods/resource packs that make up the original ones. So, again again, I shall say there are mods I would put to replace mods, experiment with, etc~
Oh yes, I will for sure use this as excuse to try some new mods and/or texture packs.
Mod Changes/Missing
- No animatica, colormatic, CIT resewn, skin changer (in multiplayer menu), time stamp chat, continuity
- Item Model Fix by a different author (MehVahdJukaar)
- Simple Armor Hud is in use surprisingly (so main armor bar mod I like is in use instead of Detail Armor Bar)
- "Puzzle" by Mostchen provides some interesting option configs for mods that replace optifine functions
- I have added Zoomify which frankly speaking, is like LogicZoom, but busted since you can infinitely zoom (debating if I should keep it for shiz and giggles, or just remove it since it's delving beyond "basic vanilla" which is what I intended for this modpack)
- "Raised", this one does the most astounding change... IT LIFTS THE HOTBAR UP A FEW PIXELS! GAME CHANGING AMIRIGHT?!?!?
- "Notes" basically as the name entails, allows you to write personal notes to yerself, so this is a very VERY convenient thing in my eyes-it's also another borderline basic vanilla mod that I would add (since honestly this beats me in irl writing down coordinates, so if I was gonna write down notes anyways, might as well have this mod right?)
- "Numeral Ping": gives numbers to the ping of other players on the tab menu
- "Boat Item View" is a definite possible add since we can see maps without needing to stop the boat each time while moving if the map is in one hand, and an item is on another hand
- "Client Side Noteblocks" reduces lag from their use via just changing the method of which the sound is inputted to you
- "Lava Clear View", okay this one just is nice since you can see clearly through lava when using fire resistance, so anyone building in lava lakes and such would appreciate this one
- "Screenshot Viewer" is a definite possible addition since you don't need to go scrounging in your folders to look at screenshots now with this basically
- "Particle Blocker", holy heck this is the most specific particle blocking mod I've seen so far
- "GoogleChat"... I don't have good hopes for this since it always seems to break down, or not work at all whatsoever when I try it, but if I can figure out how to get working properly, then it can be handy to have
- "Rule of Thirds", and for anyone who is familiar with photography, us as humans we have a tendency "of oh this looks nice" based on a 3x3 grid arrangement, may keep this for whoever wants to make stylish screenshots
Resource Pack Missing/Changes
- No jicklus, complete xali textures, enhanced audio, emmisive TXF, Fancy Beds, Font Reimagined, Leaf Decay, Sully's Peeves, Classic 3D (16x), Icons
- Ore Glint, an alternative to emissive TXF I was actually intending on adding earlier since it's just as cool as it honestly (also no idea if this works since we're missing quite the mods for this)
- Emissives for Books and Potions (yeah these were the only xali textures available for the version at this moment)
- "Fire Rekindled" is a rehaul for fire and lava textures and ngl, it looks pretty nice and comfy
- "Dramatic Skies" is a sky mod I've used before I think, but it's generally inconsistent on version availability (and I'm too lazy to override that shiz currently still)
- "Obscuria's Tools" basically just gives Obscuria's style of tools and weapons in minecraft, and I don't really see anything bad about it since it still is in the realm of vanilla+ in textures
- "Shield Fix", and YES PLEASE, the banner's texture won't be as reduced, if at all on a shield now!
- "Universal Multi-stone Ores" is basically ores on other stone types like granite-seems reasonable enough (downside being... since continuity doesn't exist, I can't be sure to see if this works or not)
This mod has no additional files
