Are you a parent trying to setup a simple server for your family to play? This modpack is for you! The guiding principles of this modpack are:

Simple - everything should be easy for players of all ages to use.

Casual - designed to reduce player conflict and maximize creativity without a steep learning curve.

Performant - keeping things light so server costs don't get too high

Using this modpack - for players (and admins)

Campfires heal you and prevent mobs from spawning!

Found a loot chest? Tell other players because they can get loot too!

Died? Don't worry, your inventory stays with you and a death marker is created on your map, you can find your way back!

Press ' to open the claims menu. Click 'Claim' to claim your space! It will show up on the minimap for everybody and only you will be able to build within it.

Press y for waypoints and minimap configuration

Press b to quickly create a waypoint

Press z to make your minimap bigger

Open your inventory and click the scroll icon in your character pane to warp to a waystone

Open your inventory and double click an empty space to auto sort it

Open your inventory and scroll while hovering over the broom icon on the right side to change the sort method

Consider reading the Waystone mod guide or watching the mod showcase by Krzair as there are LOTS of cool things you can build with waystones.

type /openpac-parties create to create a party

type /openpac-parties member invite <playername> to invite a player to your party

type /openpac-parties member kick <playername> to kick a player out of your party

type /opm <message> to message only players in your party

You can configure whether party members can build in your claims with the ' claim menu!

Using this modpack - for admins

All of the instructions below only work if you're an admin of the server. Every host will give you a way to send the command /op <your player name>. Do that.

Turn off teleportation

I highly recommend disabling waypoint teleporting because the Waystones mod is what is intended to provide instant teleportation in this modpack. However, it's enabled by default because you can turn it off via the gui, but you can only turn it back on via the config file, which is beyond the scope of this guide.

1. press y
2. click 'waypoints'
3. click 'options'
4. click 'Teleportation: ON' to toggle it off

Now the only way to teleport is with admin commands or with waystones.

Setup server claims

Server claims protect an area from being modified by anyone other than admins.

1. type /openpac-claims server-claim-mode, this makes your claim menu claim for the server instead of for you.
2. press ' to open the claim menu
3. click 'Claim' to claim the current chunk for the server
4. once you've claimed everything you want, type /openpac-claims server-claim-mode again to switch back to normal mode

Consider setting "Protect Players from Players" to true in both the "Server claims config" and the "Default player config" menus (again, press ' to access).
