Forging the Future: Update 2.2.0

The Forge Frontier 2.2.0 Update continues to expand and refine the modpack, introducing new automation tools, quality-of-life improvements, and extensive quest enhancements. This update focuses on optimizing performance, improving gameplay balance, and introducing new mechanics to enhance your adventure.

Key highlights include:
✅ New Jetpack Integration – A dedicated Curios Jetpack Slot with advanced fueling mechanics.
✅ New Energetic Blaze Burner – Enhances Advanced AE Processing Recipes with Ponder integration.
✅ Expanded Quest System – More detailed objectives, better progression flow, and new rewards.
✅ Mod Optimizations & Additions – Upgrades across multiple mods, including the replacement of Xaero Zoomout with the superior XaeroPlus.

🚨 Reminder: Before updating, we highly recommend backing up your world to preserve your progress.

🆕 Mod Additions

• XaeroPlus: Enhances Xaero’s World Map and Minimap with additional features and performance improvements, making navigation smoother and more efficient.

❌ Mod Removals

• FTB Backups: Removed due to instances where backups caused extreme lag, server hangs, and crashes.
• Xaero Zoomout: Functionality replaced by the improved XaeroPlus mod.

🔄 Forge Loader Update

• Updated from v47.3.11 → v47.3.33 for improved stability and compatibility.

• ⚙️ Adjusted quest requirements for better progression flow.

Informational

• ✅ Artifacts: Completed missing quests.

Dimensional Progression

• Nether: Adjusted Blaze Spawner Reward to Mob Cage with Speed Upgrades.
• Deeper Darker: Adjusted Mining Quest Requirement to allow for proper completion.
• End: Tweaked End Rewards to exclude End Island Reset from "Claim All."

Ad Astra

• Moon:
  • Added Cryo Fuel hint in Mining Quest.
  • New reward for page completion quest.
  • Adjusted intro quest requirement.
• Mars, Mercury, Venus, Glacio: Completed quest expansions for these planets.

Rocket Progression

• 🚀 Adjusted intro quests to require item gathering or dimensional travel instead of simple checks to unlock chapters.

Structure Exploration

• Create - Easy Structures: Completed quest implementations.
• Better Archeology: Completed quest implementations.
• Prepared additional quest chapters for future expansions.

End Remastered

• 🖼️ Added a background image to End Remastered quests.
• 🔍 Adjusted Eye Description quest requirements.

• 🚀 Adjusted quest requirements for smoother progression.

• 🛠️ New Feature: Added Energetic Blaze Burner for Advanced AE Machine Processing Recipes (Includes Ponder).

• ✈️ New Flight Ring Recipe – Now requires Netherite Jetpack instead of Bismuth Jetpack.

• ❌ Removed Sanding Catalyst Recipe, as it was non-functional.
• 📝 Updated Catalyst Tooltips to clarify usage for players.

• 🔋 Added all charging recipes to Energizer.

• 🎒 Created a dedicated Jetpack Curios Slot for better integration.

• 🥛 Adjusted Nut Milk Recipe to produce fluid instead of a bucket.

• 🛠️ New Netherite Casing Recipe using Regions Unexplored Nether Wood.
• 🌲 New Smoked Log Recipe – Uses smoking instead of heated mixing.
• 🔥 New Infernal Mechanism Recipe – Now includes rubber as a component.
• ❌ Removed Seething Recipes for Rose Quartz & Spectral Ruby.

• 🔹 Improved Compatibility: Easy Villagers and Easy Piglins blocks are now blacklisted to prevent unintended interactions.

End Phantasm

• 🌌 Enhanced End Dimension Entry: The Outer End Teleport Feature has been disabled, ensuring players now spawn directly on the Main End Island upon entering the End for a smoother and more predictable experience.

Drippy Loading Screen

• 🎨 Visual Enhancements: Updated to version 2.2.0, to match pack version.
