Those fields won’t plow themselves!  The life of a farmer is a peaceful one, but it’s not an easy one.  Gone are the days of nonsensical wooden pickaxes; dig in gravel with your own two hands for flint to forge your first tools.  Name them well, because they’ll may also be the last tools you’ll ever own, as you upgrade and customize them throughout your journey.

Alongside sprawling fields of over 60 different kinds of crops and orchards of more than 30 different kinds of trees, you’ll also engage in animal husbandry.  Breed animals, keep them happy and well fed, and they’ll provide various cuts of meat, eggs, milk, butter, cheese, wool, and of course, companionship.  Rare crops and different breeds of animals won’t just come knocking on your door, though...  You have to get out there and find them!  With wearable backpacks, boat-mounted storage chests, and options of colorful sleeping bags to spend your nights away from home, you’ve got all the tools you need to traverse the land in search of fertile soil, tasty crops, or maybe just some fluffier bunnies.

You'll find the surface to be a peaceful place, but you’ll have to go in search of ore sooner or later, and when you do, you’ll learn to fear every clack, every groan, and every hiss.  In the depths of pitch-black caves, monsters lurk and hunger for anyone brave enough to enter their domain.  Furthermore, you don’t want to be caught unarmed if the rare blood moon rises into the sky, and you find yourself suddenly surrounded by beasts of every manner.

Luckily, it's worth it to brave the dark!  Wipe the remains of the zombies from your armor and put your hard-won gains to good use. Power up your farm with peacefully turning windmills and watermills, or ravage the earth in search of crude oil to refine into petrol. You can step up your farming production, take the fight to the monsters with a high-tech arsenal, or simply build the world’s best garden security system, complete with floodlights and turrets.
