What's new
New Progression Content
- Added Fire Essence as a new late-game progression item.
- Added Boss Soul drops to selected major bosses.
- Added a new crafting route for Fire Essence using Boss Souls and Mutant Cores.
- Fire Essence is now part of the progression toward summoning the final boss, Ignis.
Boss Progression Changes
- Added new late-game progression requirements after the Ender Dragon.
- Players now need to defeat several major bosses to gather the required souls for Fire Essence.
- Required boss soul sources include:
- Netherite Monstrosity / Ender Guardian
- Ancient Remnant / The Harbinger
- Kousla / The Leviathan / Coralssus
Mutant Creature Progression
- Mutant Cores are now required for Fire Essence crafting.
- Mutant creatures remain tied to post-Ender Dragon progression and will only appear after the Ender Dragon has been defeated.
Guidebook Updates
- Added new guidebook content explaining Boss Souls, Mutant Cores, and Fire Essence.
- Added new late-game hints pointing players toward the final boss progression.
- Updated guidebook progression notes to better connect post-Ender Dragon bosses with the Ignis summon path.
