You are an exile, a nomad banished from his people, thrown into the unforgiving lands to fend for yourself. To get back on top you need to conquer civilizations, slay monster to empower yourself or create a blooming economy. Though it will not be given to you on a silver platter in this forsaken world. You will need to manage your thirst, mana and ofcourse your health to even survive. The monsters have been tweaked to be more difficult, undead ones even require silver and/or fire to fell them and monsters will smell the scent of your blood, hear the noise that you make and follow your light sources to be lead directly to you. Your armor values have also been lowered drastically making evasion and movement a viable defense instead of just taking the hits.
Even resource gathering has been fundamentally changed. No ores will spawn naturally, instead they will all require a trip to the Black Zone to acquire. The stronger the ore, the stronger the enemies guarding it. But perhaps these guardians are the least of your worries as the black zone is lawless, meaning any player is allowed to kill you on sight and take your belongings. Also various trinkets and artifacts can be found at certain locations in the Black Zone. Happy hunting exile.
Be it as a monster slayer, a conqueror or a trader. The path you take is up to you, so go forth exile and cement your legacy.
NOTE: It is configured so that no ores spawn naturally and the Black Zone is only effective on the server, meaning that if you want to play this on your own world you'll have to delete the OreTweaker and Atum config so it creates a standard one in it's place, have fun :)
