Everdawn

A server where Create is the industry and a registry is the law.

Everdawn is the modpack for everdawn.net. It is Create and the addons that stay inside its own progression, a handful of quality-of-life mods, and Polis — a registry written for this server that records what players do to one another and never prevents it.

What Polis adds

• Land. Claim ground, set a border, price a road. A closed border shows a wall you can walk through: the registry witnesses the trespass rather than blocking it.
• Money. Coin is minted at a counter from metal you mined, at a published rate. There is no overdraft, no interest and no way back.
• A market. A global order book with no shops. Placing an order escrows the goods or the coin at once.
• Contracts. Written terms, with stakes, deadlines and a permanent record of who honoured them.
• A court. Complaints are heard by an elected bench, over a day, with the tally sealed until the finding.
• A map drawn on that registry: who holds what, where the lines run, and what was done on your ground while you were away.

Joining

Install the pack and open the game — Everdawn is already in your server list. Nothing to copy.

Server updates and pack updates move together, so the launcher's update button is all that is ever needed.

Polis itself is All Rights Reserved: download it and play, on this server or your own. Everything in this pack that is not Polis belongs to its own author and is downloaded from where they publish it.
