  Since item is randomly "jumped" out of the pool when you drop it, its unclear which block caused initial "burning". Now, all 27 surrounding blocks around ore piece will be checked. Pieces still can't be transform in rain. ✅ Tip: always put pieces first, and then fluid. Or put pieces inside of the fluid so it cant leave fluid block.
