[ARCHIVED] Enhanced Realistic Survival

PLEASE READ: This project has been discontinued for the forseeable future. I may revisit it in the future using ReTerraForged. This project will likely recieve no further updates, however it will remain here in its current, stable state. Enhanced Realistic Survival is a realistic survival modpack, focused on immersion, realism and survival. The challenge of this mod isn't new bosses or features, but rather dynamic and immersive additions that come together to form a hardcore survival experience.

It is highly recommended that you pregenerate your world using Chunky (included). I recommend a view distance of at least 24 and chunk loading in Terraforged is slow and extremely demanding.

~~~SERVER INFORMATION~~~

~~~Setting Up A New Server~~~

Kinetic Hosting offers automatic installations for all modpacks with server files, including Enhanced Realistic Survival! This means that, with the click of a button, you can update or install this modpack and switch to another as you desire! If you need to set up the pack manually, check below. Check out Kinetic Hosting here!

If you need to set up the server manually, all you need to do is extract the latest server pack and replace your server's files with the ones you just downloaded. Once you have done this, make sure to set up your server's launch jar and it will do the rest for you! Don't forget to type true in your server's console to agree to the EULA when asked/prompted.

~~Updating An Existing Server~~

If you are updating the server through Kinetic Hosting, all you need to do is search it up in their Quick Installer, click the latest version (in green), and you're done!

If you need to update manually, download the new server files and extract them before replacing your "config" and "mods" folders with the new ones. Your world and progress will not be affected.

~~~~Server Requirements~~~~

It is highly recommended that you preload your server using Chunky (included in the modpack). This way, players will get their full render distance and there will be no worldgen performance penalty, which is vital as Terraforged is extremely demanding and best played on higher render distances. If your server can handle it, you could instead increase your server's view distance to 24 to match the client, though chunk loading will be extremely demanding and slow.
