[ARCHIVED] Enhanced Legacy

If you haven't already, I suggest checking out the Modrinth page! You may need a new launcher, but Modrinth is better for devs, faster and more reliable, in addition to being open-source. I've made massive reworks and overhauls of this modpack, and it's almost an entirely new project, even if it has the same end goals.
 

Enhanced Legacy is a vast Minecraft modpack for 1.19 Fabric focused on improving the vanilla experience. Unlike other modpacks that claim to be “vanilla+”, I have been going through to ensure that all mods actually add to the experience without being detrimental to the core of vanilla Minecraft. You will not find 300 structures per chunk, nor will you find over-the-top-modded biomes and mobs, only the highest quality mods have been used. I spend dozens of hours configuring mods to play well together and support each-other’s additions - everything has been fine-tuned to the point it feels like all these mods were meant to go hand-in-hand.

While it may seem like a lot of mods, most of them are small, QOL or performance mods to improve the experience - there a tons of unique structures, items and more; but they are all balanced to be rare and reward playing your way - whether that’s modded exploration or vanilla survival and building. Everything is of the highest quality and balanced to ensure you never feel overloaded - it won’t feel distorted and chaotic like other massive “vanilla+“ modpacks.

This pack has a minimum of 4gb ram. I personally recommend you allocate 6gb of ram to this modpack.

~~~SERVER INFORMATION~~~

~~~Setting Up A New Server~~~

Kinetic Hosting offers automatic installations for all modpacks with server files, including Enhanced Legacy! This means that, with the click of a button, you can update or install this modpack and switch to another as you desire! If you need to set up the pack manually, check below. Check out Kinetic Hosting here!

If you need to set up the server manually, all you need to do is extract the latest server pack and replace your server's files with the ones you just downloaded. Once you have done this, make sure to set your server's launch jar and it will do the rest for you! Don't forget to type “true” in your server's console (when prompted) to agree to the EULA.

~~Updating An Existing Server~~

If you are updating the server through Kinetic Hosting, all you need to do is search it up in their Quick Installer, click the latest version (in green), and you're done!

If you need to update manually, download the new server files and extract them before replacing your "config", "mods" and "KubeJS" folders with the new ones. Your world and progress will not be affected.

~~~~Server Requirements~~~~

The minimum allocated ram for this modpack is 5gb, though I highly recommend your server has at least 6gb of ram to ensure a smooth experience.

~~WARNING WHEN USING DIMENSION STACK~~

You can still enable Dimension Stack, but there are some things you must do in order for it to work.

DO NOT enable Dimension Stack with any of the “alternate” dimensions; the Sky Islands and Void dimensions MUST be manually disabled. Due to the world generation of this modpack, leaving them enabled will lead to bugs, strange occurrences and crashes.
If you want to enable Dimension Stack for the Nether, YOU MUST configure the Nether's world height to 192 blocks by selecting the Nether and "Edit" when enabling Dimension Stack with the Nether. THE NETHER WILL NOT WORK unless you correctly configure its height. Also, this modpack uses Nullscape, meaning that you will need to set the End's height to 384 blocks if you are configuring it with Dimension Stack.

Note that enabling Dimension Stack can increase ram usage by around 1-2gb for the server, or the client when it is a single player world. When enabling Dimension Stack on a server, be sure to restart it after enabling it to avoid overloading your server’s resources. You can enable Dimension Stack during world creation. If your world has already been created, you can enable, disable or re-configure it by running the command /portal dimension_stack while in your world (you must have cheats if using singleplayer or OP if on a server).
