Update 11.0
General Info for updating older profiles! Actual update news is further down:
Updated Scripts/Quests/Quest Loot/Structures/Resources etc so make sure to hit the updating button in the main page of the Questbook where the logo is. Or run the update command in the console “/bq_admin default load” and this one “/bqs_loot default load” manually. To update quests and loot! (The Button is located on the main screen of the book so the one with the party create button and the big Dimension Zero Banner not the survival quest line. It’s a yellow warning sign blinking button at the top corner just click it and everything fixes itself and the button is gone until the next update of the pack)
Update News:
Added “Fish's Undead Rising” Mod for a few new mobs to encounter. HF you can never have enough monster variety at night or day.
Increased base weapon attack speed, makes attack speed a lot more fluid again. (Remember kids rapiers do less dmg than other sword types but get the armor penetration bonus and are a bit faster than others but it was never intended for them to become high speed click how fast you can spammer tools that was part of the skill book bugs). Redstone is now more effective on upgrading attack speed of weapons as well.
Haste Totem gives 10% more attack speed and 20% mining speed. And stacks to 5 times now.
Strength totem, is your easy to get go to dmg upgrade besides the weapon material and traits. It stacks up 8 times and every totem gives you +3 dmg.
Increased heart crystal drop rate from 0.08 to 0.1 for fighting mobs.
Reduced monster scaling from 0.55 to 0.525 (roughly 20-40 less hp at end game and maybe 3 - 4 less dmg).
Made exp gain in astral sorcery skill tree perks a bit faster. Scaled from two times the standard exp to 3 times the standard exp gained. Since I ages ago reduced the % each perk gave I added up the maximum perk lvl you can get. From 30 to 50 but going over 30 takes a bit more dedication. This way it should feel a little bit more rewarding.
Gem sockets are worth more now as well in astral. The chance a gem can roll for more modifiers is upped. 50% chance to get 3 instead of 2 modifiers and a 25% to get 4 if it already rolled for a third modifier. Have fun you min maxers out there, this should keep you busy.
Added in some more rewards to the quests that make more sense at some points and reworked the amount of new hardcore lives you get (you get less from quests now and mostly only get them from important quests) but you start with 42 so what could go wrong.
Made some minor mods more potent! Roots, Embers and the like may hold some interesting use to you. Find out for yourself.
EBWiz Magic is more streamlined now and not so bugged as it was back with the skills. So the feeling of going from 10 dmg to 9999 is gone now but each spell will feel more unique and an average dmg scale from 10 to 30 to 60 to 80 to 140 on spells can still be nice. Especially if you specialize in a certain magic type which gives you 60% more dmg when using the right wand on master tier.
Creative Tinkers Modifier has had its Recipe Changed a bit. It’s easier to get now, so try out making your Weapon as strong as you want it to be. If Magic isn’t your thing!
Fixed some typos and fixed the outdated tips in the loading screen.
