General Info for updating older profiles! Actual update news is further down:

 

Updated Scripts/Quests/Quest Loot/Structures/Resources etc so make sure to hit the updating button in the main page of the Questbook where the logo is. Or run the update command in the console “/bq_admin default load” and this one “/bqs_loot default load” manually. To update quests and loot! (The Button is located on the main screen of the book so the one with the party create button and the big Dimension Zero Banner not the survival quest line. It’s a yellow warning sign blinking button at the top corner just click it and everything fixes itself and the button is gone until the next update of the pack)

 

Update News:

 

Fixed some recipes not working properly due to mod changes!

 

Fixed some exploitable stuff giving unintended creative items!

 

Removed Improvable Skills 3 Mod due to newfound bugs incompatibilities and many more issues and the mod maker having expressed little intention to fix any of them. A new skill based system is implemented via a reworking of the ability totem scaling values. Haste, speed, strength etc totems now scale higher and are cheaper to get. In return utility totems debufffs or passive cures etc are more expensive. But I will stick to the limit of 6 different types at once. This way you will need to decide what skills to take with you and what not making for a neat Player customization. The rarity system has also been reworked. Now looting structures is even more interesting to find the Valuable skills. Or you can simply wait until a Monster has the desired one. And don’t forget you can reforge 4 useless totems into a new random one.

 

This also meant I had to readjust some values on the Wizardry Mod, as well as readjusting some values in general. Like Block hardness has also dropped from x4 to x3 still harder but makes early digging a bit easier especially with the early to get haste skill totem which increases your attack speed by 10% and mining speed by 20% for every stage. loot chests that had an assortment of skill pages will now have an assortment of totems if you are lucky to get them etc.

 

Fixed Mob overpopulation restricting mob spawn of normal Vanilla Mobs, making it hard to find mobs like chickens! Also added some Basic Animal spawn eggs to the first farming quest, for the unlucky people who still can’t find any!

 

Changed some Chance cube stuff around because of unwanted creative item access!

 

Added a small new quest line as reward for people who make other people work for them….I mean for people who give other people a stable job!

 

Reduced range of Armara Ritual Protection to 8 since I have the crystals set to never break, this still gives players a little sanctuary but makes it more valuable to combine it with other defense methods instead of a super barrier. (Also reduces the chance of people having botania beams redirected by building it to close). Remember that you can redirect and spread rituals to make them better or increase ranges by a bit. It now matches the Jiyuulia Botania Flowers Range whose recipe will be made a bit harder. Trying to reduce the amount of passive protections a slight bit. Interdiction torches stay at the 5 blocks range. The Roots Ritual still has a slightly bigger range due to it not lasting that long and needing active reactivation and consumes components.

 

Other astral rituals also got hit a bit to. Discidia does less passive dmg and in a 16 radius not a 32 one. Vicio fly range reduced a little.

 

Lucerna ritual range of mob spawn prevention reduced to 16 down from 64 and the range increase per lenses is now 4 instead of another 64 (that was a very overpowered ritual considering the packs spawn mechanics)

 

Made the sword from astral sorcery stronger when sharpened. x2 instead of x0.2 to dmg values. It’s a fun mechanic and this way it should work better in this pack. And crystal tools don’t revert.

 

Reduced the amount of hardcore lives you can get via quests, by taking out some of them from the rewards and replacing them with different things. No one can say I make it too easy for you all right. Starting questing lives stay the same 42 is the answer to life and everything.

 

Some other minor fixes here and there!

 

Fixed some more typos! Tell me if you find more, one day they will all be gone.
