Dimension Rift 5 is here, now on Minecraft 1.19.2!
Dimension Rift has been around since 2015. It is a balanced blend of exploration, tech and magic that is designed for groups of friends with different playstyles to enjoy progressing together. Regardless of the path you choose, you'll find yourself immersed with hours of content, while watching your character grow in power and rack up achievements that feel great to get.
Exploration
Dimension Rift has always had an emphasis on exploration, but with a fresh experience each time. With a new set of dimensions, biomes, dungeons, villages, structures and loot, you'll never run out of things to explore. The overworld, nether and end have been completely revamped, and may new dimensions (Aether, Blue Skies, Twilight Forest, Ad Astra, Deeper Darker) will provide hours of content to explore. Thanks to Lootr, you can explore with your friends, and neither of you will miss out on loot!
Gear up
A brand new combat system introduced by Better Combat, mixed with custom Tetra weapons (and many other unique weapons from the other 200+ mods in this pack) and incredible loot & baubles. Apotheosis and Ensorcellation will provide a massive amount of customizable options for your armour, from gems to modifiers and enchantments.
Magic
Enigmatic Legacy is the cornerstone magic mod of this pack, providing players with a tough choice to make right at the beginning of the game. This is complimented by the dark magic of Eidolon and classics like Botania, allowing you to do pretty much everything you want as a wizard.
Tech
Mekanism, Create and Immersive Engineering - the holy trinity of modern tech mods. Complemented by Refined Storage, Flux Networks and Industrial Foregoing, create factories, reactors, mob farms and the Meka Suit - amongst many more crazy contraptions.
Dimension Rift 5 will feel slightly different to Dimension Rift 4 for players not going down the tech path. Magic and exploration use entirely different sets of mods, and those that existed before likely are configured differently in some ways to complement the new experience. This pack was designed around a group of 4 friends, and we've been very selective on what to include and what not to. We have a track record of updating packs without breaking worlds (we have one world per pack), but that also means we're less likely to add game breaking mods. If you get any issues, please report them, and we'll deal with them when we can. And as usual...
