Can i play this without VR?
Yes, you can but if you are gonna play multiplayer with a vr player. Keep the vivecraft mod installed. The ones in this list can be removed to boost fps.
Removable if not on VR:

Vivecraft - !!Remove only if not playing multiplayer with a VR player and wanting to see their movement.
How do i play multiplayer?
There are 2 ways for Non-VR and 1 way for VR to play multiplayer:
Non-VR Multiplayer with VR player's movement (Currently not tested):
1. Have a server with the Vivecraft Forge extension(Currently with this Modpack versions isn't available) or the Vivecraft Spigot extension (Need to have the Vivecraft mod installed) to play on
2. Join the server
3. Have fun : )
Non-VR Multiplayer without VR player's movement (Currently not tested):
1. Have a server to play on
2. Join the server
3. Have fun : )
