Description
This project is currently in an beta state and is not currently complete. Myself and a small team are currently working on bug testing. The main goals atm are going through recipes to set them up as we desire for this modpack, then creating the quest lines. We are also waiting for Open Terrain Generator to officially release to take full advantage of that. If you would like to participate in beta testing, you are more than welcome to, and if you do, please leave comments with any bugs you find, or things I have missed.
This is a mostly magical based modpack with mods such as rats, blood magic, nature's aura and more. Take advantage of the magic around you. Nature offers everything you need, whether you harvest the magical potentials through the aura around you, from the animals willing to help, or more directly from your blood or others, you will influence the world around you, changing it for better or worse. There are 2 mods that could be considered tech mods, create which is honestly just amazing and AE2 for storage. AE2 is gated behind some of the magic mods and is usable without needing to find a way to generate rf.
This pack also focuses on exploration, with improved caves that will allow you to explore for days on end. The journey to the nether has also changed, you now find one way portals deep in caves, and have to find obelisks in the nether to return home. Also in the works is finding portals to the twilight forest, and a sky dimension. On the surface you will find dragons and other mythical creatures that you can tame, befriend, or fight to gain great rewards. All of this while exploring the amazing wildlands OTG preset (upcoming feature once OTG is updated).
This pack also has multiplayer in mind. Dimensions in the works include a hunting dimension for those who want to brave the night while their friends do not, and a mining dimension with all your mining desires. Teams and chunk claiming are also available, along with many useful, but balanced commands available to all on your server.
The ultimate goal for this pack, is to create a unified modpack, with a coherent quest line that will allow you to find wonder, like the first time you ever opened minecraft, without becoming so difficult that you rage quit an hour in. The target is to make changes that make sense and are fair, without ruining the core experience of creativity and exploration.
Primary todo list
Create schematics for minecolonies so it’s usable in the pack.
Create a quest line and edit recipes to fit the quest line
Some work on loot drops needs to be done
Secondary todo list
Add OTG once out of beta and use it to set up dimensions, and world gen
Set up ores to be a few giant veins instead of many small veins.
