Cobblemon Uncharted

A full Pokémon adventure in Minecraft: a 94-quest journey, trainers and gym leaders, raids, Mega Evolution, legendaries, and real Pokémon breeding.

Cobblemon Uncharted is a Fabric 1.21.1 modpack built around Cobblemon 1.8. It turns an ordinary survival world into a proper Pokémon journey: pick a starter, beat 8 gym leaders to raise your level cap, take on the Elite Four and the Champion, then keep going with raids, legends, shinies and a perfect-IV breeding project.

Every mod in the pack was chosen, tested together, and tied into one story through the quest book.

🥚 Pokémon breeding (new!)

Cobblemon doesn't have breeding yet, so this pack adds it with its own mod, Uncharted Core:

• Put a compatible pair in a Pasture: a male and a female that share an egg group, or anything with a Ditto. Now and then they'll leave a Pokémon Egg.
• Eggs go into a chest or barrel next to the pasture (hopper-friendly), or appear on top of it.
• Walk to hatch. Each egg counts down the blocks you walk; bigger Pokémon take longer. A party member with Flame Body, Magma Armor or Steam Engine hatches eggs twice as fast.
• Babies hatch as the first stage of the mother's line (a Charizard lays Charmander eggs).
• Inheritance: eggs inherit 3 IVs from their parents, or 5 with a Destiny Knot. A parent holding an Everstone passes down its nature.
• Legendaries and baby Pokémon can't breed, just like the games.

The quest book (FTB Quests, press `) guides you from your first catch to Champion and beyond, with CobbleDollars, candies, evolution stones and Master Balls as rewards:

⚔️ Trainers, leaders and a level cap

Radical Cobblemon Trainers fills the world with over 1,500 trainers. Pick a series at a Trainer Association: 8 leaders, rivals, an evil team, the Elite Four and a Champion. A level cap keeps the challenge fair: beat the next key trainer to raise it. Your Trainer Card tracks your progress and points to the next leader.

🏛️ Gyms, raids, legends and more

• Rad Gyms: randomized gym trials in ancient ruins, with type-themed leaders.
• Raid Dens: team up against giant raid bosses, then try to catch them.
• Mega Showdown: Mega Evolution, Z-Moves, Terastallization and Dynamax.
• Legendary Monuments: find the shrines and summon the legends.
• Fight or Flight: some wild Pokémon fight back, others run.
• CobbleDollars: earn money from battles and spend it at village merchants.
• Loot Balls, TMs and TRs, size variations, capture XP, pasture loot and spawn notifications for rare Pokémon.

🌍 A world worth exploring

Terralith and Tectonic for dramatic landscapes, Towns and Towers and ChoiceTheorem's Overhauled Village for bigger towns, and YUNG's dungeons, mineshafts and strongholds. Waystones, Xaero's maps, Nature's and Explorer's Compass, Traveler's Backpack and sleeping bags help you get around.

⚡ Runs smoothly

Sodium, Lithium, FerriteCore, ModernFix, ImmediatelyFast, Entity Culling and Dynamic FPS are all included. Recommended: 6 GB of RAM allocated (8 GB for large servers).

Tested

The whole pack was booted together on a dedicated server and in the real game client before release. That testing found an add-on that crashed on every catch with Cobblemon 1.8, so it isn't included. The breeding system has its own automated tests running against the full pack.
