Supported Versions

  • 1.21.1
  • This version is a huge overhaul compared to the previous version. Starting a new world is required—I will try my best to avoid this for the foreseeable future.
  • Added some new structures:
    • The Abyssal Ruins, ancient ruins that contain maps to…
    • The Ancient Temples, five temples that each house an elemental giant—already in past versions, but overhauled
    • The Ruins of Alph, a procedurally generated dungeon containing several Trial Spawners and Vaults, containing a map that leads to…
    • The Brass Tower, a tower invaded and inhabited by the Pillagers that may contain the secrets to summoning two powerful avian Legendary Pokémon
  • Overhauled the structure exploration system:
    • Cobblemon’s ruins structures now have a chance of having a map in their chests that lead to one of the modpack’s custom structures, where either a Legendary Pokémon or an additional map to a Legendary Pokémon can be found
  • Added the Mega Showdown mod, which adds a polished system for Mega Evolving your Pokémon, as well as adding the Z-Move, Dynamax/Gigantamax, and Terastallization mechanics
  • Added the Cobblemon Raid Dens mod, adding a polished raiding system allowing you to battle alongside multiple players
  • Added the End Remastered mod, which adds 16 custom and unique Eyes of Ender, of which 12 must be collected in order to activate the End Portal
    • The eyes have been customized to reflect 16 of the 18 Pokémon types and have been given custom recipes
  • Overhauled block, item, and GUI textures by combining several vanilla-style resource packs, delivering a fresh experience
  • Made changes to vanilla Minecraft’s progression—no drastic changes (all can be understood through minimal reading the Quest Book), but enough to shake things up
    • Example: Iron and Diamond gear requiring special Smithing Templates only acquired through participating in Raids, making Pokémon battles a part of the progression
  • Changed worldgen compared to previous versions—removed Terralith and added Atmospheric and No Man’s Land so that custom biomes have more custom blocks and content and are more quality over quantity
  • Added custom ponder scenes for fossil restoration, ritual crafting, crucible brewing, and Alloy Smelter construction
  • So, so, so many more minimal changes that have been slowly implemented over the past year since the initial version’s release. There’s too many to list, but these are the most noticeable and gameplay-affecting ones. I hope you all enjoy!
