1.0.0 - Release!

  • Added a few new Pokémon:
    • Added Absol [Pigeon’s Pack addon update]
      • Spawns rarely in mountainous and cold biomes; twice as common as night
      • Also spawns more commonly at the Temple of Sinnoh
    • Added Litleo and Pyroar [CobbleCats addon update]
      • Spawns commonly in savanna biomes
    • Added Hoopa [Unbound] [Pokémans addon added]
      • Obtained similarly to Ogerpon’s forms; Hoopa can evolve into Hoopa-Unbound (and vice-versa) while holding the Prison Bottle (new item; see below for more info)
    • Added Wattrel and Kilowattrel [CloudMons addon update]
      • Spawns somewhat commonly in non-snowy coastal biomes; abundant during thunderstorms
  • Made several changes to Alpha Pokémon:
    • Fixed all Alpha Pokémon hitboxes
    • Made Alphas rarer and much stronger
    • Made Alpha Vileplume, Starmie, Delibird, and Heatmor bigger
  • Made several changes to Pokémon mounting:
    • Added a list of mounts to the wiki
    • Reverted the CobblemonRider mod back a version; flying Pokémon no longer land when they run out of stamina (they only get slightly slower)
    • Made several Pokémon mountable:
      • Gyarados - Flying
      • Xatu - Flying
      • Dracovish - Land
      • Archaludon - Land
    • Made Gyarados, Dragonite, Crobat, and Hisuian Samurott slightly faster
    • Gave Dracozolt, Arctozolt, and Arctovish more stamina
    • IMPORTANT NOTE: As of right now, the list of rideable Pokémon must be configured in your world manually, until the CobblemonRider mod allows its config file to be read automatically by every new world created. To do this, place the file in (defaultconfig directory) in your world folder’s “serverconfig” folder (save directory), and exit and reload your world.
    • IMPORTANT NOTE 2: Due to a few issues with the way the config file works, Alpha mounting will come in a future update. If there are other Pokémon not currently mountable that you think should be, let me know in the official Discord server!
  • Added new mods: Create: Klinks n’ Klangs, Slugma Burner, Towers of the Wild, Better Brushes, NetherPortalFix, WATUT, and DeepslateCutting
    • Create: Klinks n’ Klangs adds lots of integration between Cobblemon and Create; capability of making Poké Balls with assembly lines, medicinal items through Create machines, and more!
    • Slugma Burner adds a more Pokémon-related replacement for the Blaze Burner—the Slugma Burner. Functions identically.
    • Towers of the Wild adds Waystones throughout your world in the form of cool, Zelda-like towers. If you started your world before the addition of this mod, no worries; they should appear in any chunks that haven’t been generated yet.
    • Better Brushes adds, well, better Brushes! With archaeology being a key component to finding some Pokémon-related items, there is now a way to make brushing faster and less tedious.
    • NetherPortalFix fixes an annoying bug where Nether Portals sometimes don’t link properly between the Nether and the overworld.
    • WATUT is a simple-but-cool mod that adds player animations for typing in the chat and being in an inventory.
    • DeepslateCutting allows you to use regular Deepslate in a Stonecutter as well, instead of just Cobbled Deepslate.
  • Removed the Nature’s Compass mod (for now, until a glitch preventing it from working is fixed)
  • Removed ModernFix due to compatibility issues with JEI
  • Fixed the Hisuian starters turning into their normal forms
    • Removed the Partners+ datapack that allowed more Starter Pokémon to be shoulder mounts, as it was the pack causing the issue
  • Made some changes to evolution when it comes to regional forms
    • Pokémon now evolve into their regional forms when the local delicacy of their evolution’s region is used on them (example: using the Big Malasada on a Pikachu will allow it to evolve into Alolan Raichu; using the Jubilife Muffin on a Dewott will allow it to evolve into Hisuian Samurott)
    • Due to this, all regional bias Pokémon have been removed from the wild except for the Hisuian starters, which can only be obtained by selecting them in the starter screen)
    • The evolution items are:
      • Big Malasada: Works on Pikachu, Exeggcute, Cubone, and Hisui-bias Dartrix
      • Very Berry Curry: Works on Koffing and Mime Jr.
      • Jubilife Muffin: Works on Quilava, Dewott, Petilil, Goomy, Bergmite (planned to work on Rufflet when it is added)
      • Casteliacone: Works on Hisui-bias Dewott
      • Rage Candy Bar: Works on Hisui-bias Quilava
    • All of these items are craftable
    • These evolution methods are not mutually exclusive with other evolution methods that the Pokémon may have; using both a Thunder Stone and a Big Malasada on a Pikachu will allow you to evolve it into either of Raichu’s forms
  • Made several tweaks to Legendary Pokémon spawning
    • Pokémon that need items to spawn no longer spawn passively while the item sits in your inventory; instead, the item must be used (right-clicked), causing the Legendary Pokémon to spawn directly in your world somewhere around you, as long as the spawn conditions are correct
    • Changed how Zygarde Cell and Core spawning works:
      • Instead of them spawning around you while the Zygarde Cube is in your inventory, using the Zygarde Cube (right-clicking) will spawn either a Cell (95%) or a Core (5%); the cube has a 1-minute cooldown
    • Due to these changes making Legendary Pokémon easier to encounter, most of these items now have more difficult crafting recipes to compensate (details on specific items below)
  • Changed some animations and models, and fixed issues with them:
    • Fixed Burmy and Wormadam’s bodies randomly glitching out of place
    • Fixed Uxie, Mesprit, and Azelf’s hitbox being too low
    • Fixed Uxie, Mesprit, and Azelf T-posing randomly
    • Added animations to Stunfisk [Stunfisk addon update]
    • Updated Volcanion’s model [Pigeon’s Pack addon update]
    • Made Regieleki and Regidrago’s hitboxes taller
  • Added the Prison Bottle, a new item that allows Hoopa to change into its Unbound form and back when held; found in the Desert Temple tomb chest (guaranteed chance)
  • Fixed Wooloo spawning absolutely everywhere
  • Girafarig and Farigiraf no longer attack
  • Tweaked several recipes:
    • Added an alternate recipe for the Paraglider that doesn’t require Leather
    • Chocolate can now be made in the Cooking Pot, allowing it to be made without Create
    • Ice Cubes can be obtained by crushing Packed or Blue Ice on a Cutting Board or in a Millstone or Crushing Wheels—only regular Ice worked before
    • Soul Sandstone from Quark and Soul Lamp from Twigs can now use Soul Soil as a substitute for Soul Sand
    • 3 Wheat only makes 1 Dough instead of 3
    • Wheat Flour is obtainable on a Cutting Board
    • Electrum Ingots can now be crafted without Create
    • The Lunar and Corrupted Lunar Feathers have entirely new, more expensive recipes
    • The Sapling of Life now requires an Enderman Head instead of a Heart Container
    • The Scarlet and Violet Books now require Diamonds to craft
  • Regieleki and Regidrago are now summoned from the Split-Decision Temple at level 40, instead of level 1
  • Spiritomb is spawned in from the Odd Keystone at level 29 instead of level 30, to prevent it from killing itself with Memento (which it learns at level 30)
  • Glimmet and Glimmora now spawn abundantly in the Crystal Canyons from Galosphere
  • Added JEI info pages to several crops from Cobblemon, Neapolitan, and Fruits Delight that tell players where to find them in the wild
  • Changed tooltips of items associated with Legendary Pokémon to reflect the new summoning mechanic
  • Made several food items from Neapolitan, particularly those in bowls like Ice Cream, stackable up to 16
  • Updated a few textures:
    • Updated Plasma Drive texture
    • Changed Soul Bead texture to match Eidolon’s Wraith
  • Updated the rarity of some items
    • Evil Team Armor Trims: Common → Rare
    • Arceus Plates: Common → Rare
    • Steeleaf: Common → Uncommon
    • Pokémon Regional Delicacies: Uncommon → Common
    • Lunar and Corrupted Lunar Feathers: Common → Epic
  • Made some items float when dropped in water, instead of sinking down, like Ice Cubes (for immersion)
  • Added and changed tooltips and JEI info pages of some items
  • Updated several mods to their latest versions
